SR Description

This service request is tracking a mock end of year 1 (EOY-1) process that needs to be completed by the end of November 2019 for The First Microfinance Bank Ltd. The status is open and customer is working on it. Various files related to the EOY process have been uploaded. Oracle support is providing guidance to the customer on completing various EOY steps like mark EOFI, real_glbal_brnall, pre-EOY check etc. for 233 branches. A few branches were having issues which were resolved with troubleshooting help from Oracle support team over webex calls.

The business team was seeing mismatch of 2300 . We have executed RC rebuild then
customer rebuild for M12 and then customer rebuild for FIN period for 035 and then
the balances were fine .

Also note in production , you have to take care of only one thing .

Please execute below query in Porduction and unblock the GLs coming in that query
only .

Dear Nisar ,

The issue about 035 was a false alarm .We thought the balances in FIN have not
zeroised but they are zeroising if we check dr_bal_lcy and cr_bal_lcy .So please
proceed ahead for the EOY and after completion of the EOY please share PostEOYCheck
spool .

Also note in production , you have to take care of only one thing .

Dear Shriraj,

With reference to blocked GLs, there are 67 block GLs with category, 3 & 4, which
are blocked. We will unblock them.

However, select * from sttb_account where gl_stat_blocked='Y' shows 199 GLs in


total. Should the GLs (not in category 3 & 4) too have to be unblocked for EOY?

224 branches (out of 233) reached mark end of financial input (mark EOFI). 09
branches running MFDBACH. And four of the 9 branches running since Saturday, in
MFDBATCH.

both the problematic branches , 152 and 233. So far now, all 233 branches have

properly .There is no data in sttms_lcl_holiday and sttms_lcl_hol_master for 152
for FY2020 .

Hi Team ,

Before starting any DB activity , please kill all the EOD sessions which are active
in the UAT DB . Then the DBA can perform gather stat activity on tables starting
with CLT .

Post that you can use the attached script abort_a_branch.sql to abort the branches
and then resubmit them through front end .

Hi Team,

Of the 19 branches which we had resubmitted yesterday, only 04 branches have


completed EOD--as of now, 09:20AM PST .
Remaining 15 branches still running on the same stage/ batch (MFDBATCH). FYI, in
all cases, MFDBATCH is taking the 90% process time. All other batches get completed
within hour.

As UAT is not of the same configuration as of PROD and also the no of day for which
EOD is runing is more. So Slowness will be observed.

Dear Team,

We are in process to get the system to NOV 30, 19 first, and then to DEC 31, 19.
For this, we have marked holidays as suggested. In running EOD we have observed
that, it is taking long time in POSTBOD_1 (seq#15, MFDBATCH). FYI, we are
submitting 15 branches (one by one) at a time. We had submitted on 09:00AM today.
14 of the them are still running in seq#15, MFDBATCH (now time is, 02:11PM). One is
running seq#6, MARKEOFI). So apparently, it is taking long time to process EOD.

Please suggest.

Dear Team,

Thanks for the update. We have marked local holidays for all the branches (233 in
total) from NOV 11 to NOV 29, 19 (inclusive). And EOD/EOM has been started to bring
the system to NOV 30, 2019 (only 4 branches have reached at NOV 30, 19 so far).

We shall keep you updated once all branches reach the date--NOV 30, 19. Thank you.

Kindly Maintain Holiday from 12th/13th Nov 2019 till 29th nov(inclusive). So next
working day will be 30th Nov 2019.
For December Maintain Holiday from 1st Dec till 29th Dec 2019. So next working day
will be 30th Dec 2019.
Run EOD/EOM to move the date will 30th Dec 2019. Once this Date is Reached we can
Start verifying the Spools.

System for Mock EoY is arranged, and post last month EOM, latest dump has been
restored.

We have gone through the KM Document, and as per the Mock EOY's prerequisites, we
have to restore the latest Schema dump post last EOM. We shall revert back to you
once Schema dump is restored. And will also share the spools for verification.
