Instructions to the Candidates
1. Present your Admit Card for verification along with at least one original valid photo identification card (for example: College ID, Employer ID, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID). Scanned copy or Photocopy is not acceptable. 2. Print your Admit Card on an A4-size paper, preferably using a colour laser printer. The Admit Card is valid only if your photograph and signature images are clear. 3. Locate your examination centre at least a day before the examination to reach the centre on time for the examination. 4. Avoid any coating (ink, mehendi, henna, or tattoo) on your fingertips and have clean fingers on the examination day. Biometric system of verification will be used. Your finger-print will be captured before the exam. This captured biometric data will be used for verification during the admission process. 5. Report to your centre at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination for identity verification. 6. You will be permitted to appear for the examination only after your credentials are verified by JAM Officials. 7. You are permitted to occupy your allotted seat 45 minutes before the scheduled start of the examination. You can login and start reading the necessary instructions 20 minutes before the start of the examination. 8. You will NOT be allowed to enter the examination hall after 9:55 hrs in the forenoon session . 9. You are NOT permitted to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination. 10. A Virtual Scientific Calculator is available on the computer screen during examination. Personal calculators, any watch/wrist watch, mobile phones or any other electronic devices are STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the examination hall. JAM Officials are not responsible for the safe-keep of personal belongings. 11. You may be checked for the possession of prohibited items during the examination. If you are found to possess any such item(s), you will be liable to be debarred from the examination and/or to disciplinary action, which may include ban from future examinations. 12. DO NOT bring any charts/tables/papers to the examination hall. You will be provided with scribble pads for rough work. Write your name and registration number on the scribble pad before using it. Return the scribble pad to the invigilator after the end of the examination.
