IST CONVOCATION PROGRAM


September 13, 2019

(We shall now start the program)

Introduction:
Anyone can rightfully claim that they can perform! Sadly however,
only a few can achieve!
Everyone can rightfully claim to be a performer! Sadly however,
only a few can be called achievers!
The measure of success is to achieve! Not to perform!
The measure of success is to be an achiever! Not a performer!

My humblest salutations to our PTA officials headed by the PTA President, Hon.
Joel J. Dela Pena, to our sympathetic, kind hearted and intelligent School Officer
In Charge, Mrs. Jocelyn M. Vosotros, teachers, our beloved parents, students,
ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon/Maajong hapon sa tanan. Welcome to the
First convocation program of Nueva Estrella National High School, S.Y. 2019 –
2020. We are happy to have you all with us today! As a gesture of that
appreciation, palakpakan po natin ng malakas na malakas ang pagpunta nyo dito
ngayon! Palakpakan po natin ang mga sarili natin! Thank you very much!...

To start with everybody is requested to stand for an invocation to be given to us


by Miss Joanne G. Juanite. This is to be followed by the singing of the National
Anthem, Miss Aloha Delapena conducting.

To formally open the program, let’s welcome to our smart and well-rounded
Faculty President, Mr. Ghiecilou J. Espedilla.

(Thank you sir for that warm welome!)

Ladies and gentlemen, let us be entertained by the talented Senior High School
Students for their dance presentation. Around of applause!

At this juncture, a warm welcome to our approachable Officer In Charge Mrs.


Jocelyn M. Vosotros for presenting the statement of purpose.

Students are worth to be recognized of all the efforts they have exerted to be at
the top. This event gives them the opportunity to be acknowledged and be
encouraged to do their best on the succeeding periods. My friends, the most
awaited part of our program, the awarding of certificates among outstanding
students .To announce to us the grade 7 achievers, may I give you the respective
grade 7 advisers, Mrs. Lenlee S. Jabay and Ms. Aloha Delapena on behalf of Mrs.
Melisa M. Angcog.
The awarding of certificates to the performing students is also a way of showing
our sincere appreciation for their insurmountable efforts and dedication. Ladies
and gentlemen the grade 8 advisers, Mrs. Shiela Marie Despoy and yours truly
Mrs. Lotis Rivas for the announcement and giving certifi_cates to the grade 8
achievers.

The grade 9 achievers, also deserve a due recognition. To proclaim the grade 9
performing students, may I give you, the respective grade 9 advisers, Mrs. Raquel
Despoy and Mrs. Dazel D. Laugo. A big hand!

Ladies and gentlemen, a warm welcome to the grade 10 advisers, Mrs. Dedina H.
Sanico and Mrs. Glaiza Maravillas for the giving of certificates to the grade 9 cream
of the crop.

To announce to us the outstanding grade 11 students, let us welcome the brilliant


and gorgeous grade 11 adviser, Mrs. Girlie Myla D. Maturan.

A simple means of congratulating the achievers is a great thing for them that will
surely encourage them to do more for the best… May I call on the smart adviser
of grade 12 to announce to us the best and brightest grade 12 students.

Still holding an igniting power to entertain us. Join me in welcoming, Ms. Joanne
G. Juanite, a senior high school student for her song number.

Let us clap our hands again for the achievers. Once again congratulations! You
deserve it.

Today’s program is a fitting tribute for those who have shown that they have the
guts and the stuff to them, the words of the poet and essayist Ralph Waldo
Emmerson ring and loud: The reward of a thing well done is to have done it!
This is Mrs. Lotis Q. Rivas your host for this part I of our program, saying thank
you for being with us, and of course let us all relax and behold for the part II which
is the General PTA Meeting. So, we may now turn over this microphone to our
beautiful program master for the part II, Mrs. Raquel Despoy.
