Content Standard:

The learner demonstrates understanding of how world literature and other text types serve as
instruments to resolve social conflicts, also how to use the language of research, campaigns
and advocacies.

Performance Standard:

The learner competently presents a research report on a relevant socio-cultural issue.

Learning Competencies:

The learner demonstrates communicative competence through his/ her understanding of


literature and other texts types for a deeper appreciation of Philippine Culture and those of
other countries.

Transfer Goal:

The will become communicative competent through his/ her understanding in grammar,
Literature and Thesis making.

I. Enduring Understanding:

The learning module will allow learners to understand the importance of knowing the different
style of approach in literature and in communicating in a given social interaction and influences
his/her choices of words and sentence structure thru their Thesis.
