"Windows Could not start Proficy Webspace Application Publishing Services on local

Computer. For more information review the system event log. If this is a non-
Microsoft service, contact the service vendor. and refer to service-specific error
code 3687."

Environment
Primary Product Module: Proficy Webspace
Primary Product Version: 4.8.259 /w Compatibility Update 4

Cause
The issue is caused by a reference in the windows registry.

Resolution
The cause of the service failing to start is because the update did not update
files. This is most likely due to a registry entry that the installer found; which
resulted in the update seeming like it was successful, but the update never made
any modifications. To resolve this, do the following:
Uninstall Proficy Webspace from the system.
Reboot the PC.
Login as an administrator.
Open regedit.
Locate the following registry keys and delete.
