Content Standard: The Learners demonstrate an understanding of the basic


General Objective concepts and underlying theories in electrical installation and
maintenance.

Performance Standard 1. The learners independently demonstrates testing the circuit


using Ohmmeter, Voltmeter and Ammeter

I. Specific Objective: 1. define Three Way Switch;


2. draw the schematic symbol of Three Way Switch;
3. identify the terminal of Three Way Switch;
4. illustrate the wiring diagram of Three Way Switch
4. follow the step by step procedure in installing Three Way
Switch; and
5. observe proper sanitation and work safety procedure
inside the laboratory.

II. Subject Matter/ Electrical Installation and Maintenance; Installing of lighting

Lesson Proper:
Activities: Class Activity –Lecture/Discussion, Hands-on, Active

The Class will be listening to discussion and viewing diagrams


about the topic for the day. Follow the step by step procedure
in installing Three Way Switch demonstrated by the teacher.

2. How does Three Way Switch differ from other type of
switch?

1. In order to control lighting fixture in two different
locations, how many three way switch should be
used?

controlling circuit from one location?

Application (Practice): Hands-On Active Participation, Collaborative Learning: The


students will be divided into 4 groups, each group composed
of 5-8 members and they’ll install one light bulb controlled by
two Three Way Switch.
