    SYNOPSIS

    SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCULPTURE

    INTRODUCTION:
    A School of art and sculpture institute is space to know and
    learn about our traditional art and sculpture. This institute is
    to expose our traditional art and sculpture throughout the
    world.
    NEED OF THE STUDY:
    Every culture is developed and evolved by the art and
    sculpture. The history and evolution is funded by our art
    and sculpture. Due to the digital world, it’s becoming a need
    to preserve our arts and sculpture. The art and sculpture is
    majorly contributing in culture and tradition.
    AIM :
    This study aim is at designing school of art and sculpture
    institute for developed our art and sculpture to the
    international standard. Teach our traditional method of art
    and sculpture by our traditional method in this institute.
    OBJECTIVE:
    To discuss the importance of south Indian art and
    sculpture.
    To teach our traditional art and sculptural technology by
    traditional method (gurugulam )
    SCOPE:
    Conserve our traditional art and sculpture by this project.
    Everyone knows about south Indian art and sculpture.

    LIMITATIONS:
    This design is only for teaching traditional art and sculpture
    in a pleasant atmosphere.to increase our working and
    teaching standard to the international standard.
    METHODOLOGY:
    Understand types of art and sculpture, and traditional
    sculpture method.
    To create awareness about our traditional art and sculpture.
    CASE STUDY:
    Live study: school of fine arts, Chennai & school of Arts
    College, kumbakonam.
    INSTITUTE OF TRADITIONAL ARCHITECTURE

    INTRODUCTION:
    This design is for know about south Indian architecture and
    styles. Especially Dravidian style architecture. This type of
    architecture style is mostly available in Tamilnadu. This
    architecture style is used to design a palaces, temples, and
    etc.
    Pallava’s style, pandia’s style, chola’s style, nayakka’s style
    this all type of styles is under the Dravidian’s style
    architecture.

    NEED OF PROJECT:
    Conserve our traditional architecture style by this project
    when comparing to the western architecture the traditional
    south Indian architecture is much less than the western one
    so we need to bring back the traditional with the suitable
    design.
    The major thing we must have to go through the knowledge
    about traditional history and architectural style before the
    design process.
    AIM:
    The study of aim is to design an institute of traditional
    architecture to know the value of our traditional architectural
    styles.
    OBJECTIVES:
    Studies about south Indian architectural style especially
    Dravidian’s style
    Difference between the styles the architectural styles
    History and evolution of each architectural styles
    Know about Traditional constructional techniques

    SCOPE:
    To conserve the architectural style & bring the awareness
    for our next generation

    LIMITATIONS:
    Design shows the knowledge about Dravidians architectural
    style and traditional constructional techniques.

    ART GALLERY:

    INTRODUCTION:
    Art gallery is the place for display of art.it might be in public
    or private ownership. Art galleries are often used as a
    venue for other cultural exchanges artistic activities.
    NEED OF PROJECT:
    Fine art galleries can act as cultural go-to places within a
    city and in turn, attract art lovers and tourist to both the art
    galleries and the city as a tourist to these art galleries can
    in turn boost the local economy.
    AIM:
    This study is to design art gallery to encourage the artists to
    develop his art works by the art exhibitions.
    OBJECTIVE:
    To ensure that the economic and social rights of the artists
    are protected
    To bring out publications on subjects concerning the fine
    arts.
    To encourage the process of collaboration for better
    coordination between artist and the public.
    SCOPE:
    Art gallery design is designed not only affects how visitors
    and customers perceive it visually and navigate it spatially,
    it may even affect the gallery’s level of economic success.
    This art gallery is help to outline the profile of artists

    LIMITATIONS:
    The study covers designing art gallery for display the visual
    art forms like paintings, sculptures and etc.
