RS3Webinar PI QA

The document summarizes questions and answers from an RS3 webinar series on civil and mining applications. Key features discussed include mesh quality checking, importing DXF files, and defining joints in RS3 models. The webinar used the latest Maintenance+ version of RS3 software, which supports excavation sequencing and has no limits on point data size. Memory requirements depend on model complexity rather than just size, with 64GB RAM recommended for complex geological models.

A: Yes. RS3 has a Mesh Quality feature similar to that in RS2.

Q: In RS2, is it possible to verify the lining capacity? Is that

also possible in RS3?
A: We will consider this for the next Maintenance+ release.

Q: How does RS3 deal with soil pockets in the Bore Hole
Manager when you have soil that only appears in one
borehole?
A: You can just input it as zero thickness layer. You can change
the interpolation to different methods.
