This was an on campus interview. There were two rounds. First one was behavioural round and the
second was a technical round.
Behavioural Round
1. Describe a situation where you could not fit well for the role?
2. Describe a situation where you had trouble facing an aspect and how did you overcome it?
3. Did you face any situation where you had to choose between ethical values and success?
4. Some question related to demonstration of your leadership skills.
5. Rate the following: My ideal job opportunity:a) earn money learn more c) work with people you like
6. How are you the eligible candidate to the position compared to others?
7. Where do you see yourself in 3, 5 and 10 years from now?
And this round lasted for around half an hour.
Technical Round:
1. Why are you interested in field engineer position?
2. Do you know the revenue of the company for the previous year?
3. Which department of Baker Huges are you interested and why?
4. Do you know what is carried out in Petrolite?
5. What does your GPA tell me about you?
6. Name any four chemicals.
7. Have you performed any tests in laboratory to inspect anything?
8. What are the applications of polymers?
9. What is rheology?
10. How do you apply torque on a pen if it stands vertically?
11. Baker Huges has R&D Department, Manufacturing Department and Installing the equipments
department. Which one do you wish to get into and why?
12. What are the countries you are eligible to work in without sponsership?
