EL9410

The EL9410 is a power supply terminal used to refresh the E-bus that exchanges data between the coupler and EtherCAT terminals. It can provide an extra 2A of current to the E-bus for configurations with a large number of terminals. The terminal has diagnostic LEDs and provides diagnostics in the process image. It has power contacts for 24V DC input up to 10A maximum, with an input current of approximately 70mA plus E-bus current divided by 4.

EL9410 | Power supply terminal for E-bus, with diagnostics


The EL9410 power supply terminal is used to refresh the E-bus. Data is exchanged between the coupler and the EtherCAT Terminal over the E-bus. Each
terminal draws a certain amount of current from the E-bus (see “current consumption E-bus” in the technical data). This current is fed into the E-bus by
the relevant coupler’s power supply unit. In configurations with a large number of terminals it is possible to use the EL9410 in order to supply an extra
2 A to the E-bus. The EL9410 has a diagnostic function which is displayed by LED and on the process image.
