1. Introduction

1.1 LED Player 6.0

LED Player 6.0 is totally new software designed from LISTEN VISION in 2015. It is easier,

more cost-effective, more flash displays. It has following improved features:

1. Simple and beautiful new interface design. Easier and flexible operation;

2. Unique separate preview window design;

3. Adding the automatic alignment. Support regional adsorption function;

4. Regional editing process, real-time preview, and single program for preview;

5. Add multiple background animations;

6. Add the function of using USB to read back the data file;

7. It can be updated automatically.

8. Powerful cluster management functions, providing single selection or multiple choice screens to send
programs.

9. No hassle of control card selection.

10. Single software of Single, Double, Seven and Full color control cards.
1.2 Software Interface

1.2.1 As shown in Picture 1.2.2, it includes New, Open, Save, Save as and Exit functions. Each option is
described below.

To create a new Program file.

To open saved program file.

To save current program file.

To save current program file at particular location with a different name.

To Exit from the Led Player 6 software.

1.2.2 As shown in Picture 1.2.3, it includes functions like Led Parameter Settings, LED logo Settings
and Administrator settings. All these functions are described below.

This function is used to set the parameters of the screen like Scan Mode, Screen Size
etc.

This function enables the feature to display a particular logo every time when we turn on the
power of screen.

1.2.3 It includes Brightness, Adjust Time, LED on, LED off, Timing Onoff, Test

, Firmware Upgrade functions and Load Pixel Font.

To adjust the brightness of the screen.

To adjust the time of the control card with your computer time.

To turn On/ off the LED

This feature provides the facility to turn On/Off your screen automatically on particular slots of
time.

To test the screen’s color.

To upgrade the firmware of the control card.

1.2.4 Tool function includes U-Disk read back feature to read back the program from U-Disk

1.2.5 This function enables the user to change Language of the software.

1.2.6 This function enables the user to change Skin of the software.

1.2.7 This function enables the user to check and Update software Version.

2. Software Operation
1. Open the software Led Player 6.0.

2. Click on “File” and select “New”.

3. Then go to “Setting(S)” and select “LED parameter Setting”.

4. Enter password “888” and click on “OK”.

5. In “Communication Settings” select communication i.e. USB, Network Communication or Serial
Communication.

Depending on your control card you can select communication.

Note:
a. USB communication is supported by A series, U series, T series, E series and W series, Seven color
and Full color cards.
b. Network communication is supported by T series, E series and W series, Seven color and Full color
cards.
c. Serial communication is supported by A series (Only A4 and A4L), E series and GPRS card.

*A (USB) series cards: A2C, A2; (USB and Serial) A4, A4L models.
*U (USB) series cards: U2, U4, U8, U16 models.
*W (Wi-Fi) series cards: W2C, W2, W4 models.
*T (Ethernet +USB) series cards: T2, T4, T8, T16 models.
*E (Ethernet +USB +Serial) series cards: E1, E2, E3 models
*GPRS series cards: (Serial): G1, G2, G4, and G16.
*Seven color cards (USB): XC2, XC4; (Ethernet + USB) XC4M models.
*Full color cards: (USB) X0U, X1U and X2U; (USB + Ethernet) X0M, X1M and X2M models.

5.1 Case 1: In case you are using “USB communication”.

USB communication is used to transfer program into controller by U-Disk .

5.2 Case 2: In case you are using “Serial communication”.

Serial communication is used to transfer data by RS232 or RS485 .

5.3 Case 3: In case you are using “Network communication”.

Case A: Static IP: If control card is connected through some switch or network i.e. these is no direct
connection between control card and Computer then you can assign Static IP to the control card.

Case B: Direct Communication: If Control card is connected directly to the computer by Ethernet Cable.

Case C: WIFI: In case you are using W series (Wi-Fi) control cards.
First connect to the WIFI signal of the W series control card.

Then select “Network Communication”. Choose “Static IP” and Enter Controller IP 192.168.1.1 and click
on “Test Connection”.

6. Now go to “Basic Settings” and select LED Color according to your LED display screen.

7. Select “Built in Module” and select the Module according you LED display screen.

8. In case if cannot find the right module in “Built in Module” option then select “Custom Module” and
select the correct size from the list.

9. And then, enter the number of modules in width and Height as shown in below picture and click on “Set”.

10. Driver settings: If you are using “Built in Module” in step 7 then this option will not appear in software
but if you are using “Custom module” as we have chosen in Step 8 only then “Driver” setting” will
appear.

So if you are using “Custom Module” Option then you may require setting the Scan Mode. To set the
scan mode click on “Driver settings” and then select the scan mode according to your module and then
click on Set.

11. Now click on back.

12. Now take a new program and add Single line text, Text, File, Clock etc. whichever is required.

For reference we have made a program in which we have divided the area of our screen in three parts
between single line text, Digital clock and Temperature.

13. Now send the data to the screen by USB or Single Send depending on the Communication chosen in LED
parameter setting. Select USB to transfer data to U-Disk and select Single send to send data through
Network or Serial Cable.

Now plug this U-Disk into control card.

3. Toolbar

These tools are shown in the picture 1.4.1. You can use either one or more tools together. Features of each
tool are described in the picture.
