MAE60 Lab Report 1

The document provides instructions to analyze and plot multiple sets of data from lab experiments. For each data set, labeled as problems 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 2.1, the student is directed to plot the data, label the axes, and scale the x and y axes appropriately. For problem 1.3, the student is also asked to describe differences in oscilloscope displays based on trigger source and explain why those differences occur. Finally, the student is instructed to include a screenshot of the fully wired diagram and waveform plot in their report.

When moving the trigger source outside of the limits of the wave

amplitude, the wave will continue to move as a normal wave would.
7.66E-03 -2.24
The wave will only stop when the wave amplitude hits the height of
7.67E-03 -2.24 the trigger. The purpose of this is to find any in consistencies in the
7.68E-03 -2.24 wave amplitude.

the fully wired diagram and the Front Panel, and paste it in your report. Plot the waveform in
your report using Excel or a similar software.
