Police Brigadier General Rafael Santiago Jr, received the order
from Chief PNP police General Oscar Albayalde early morning on July 27
to conduct operations to close any PCSO gaming schemes and directed
his commanders on the ground to implement the order of the President
and set a cut off to submit their reports at 5 pm of the same date ‘’, On
July 26, President Duterte ordered the closure of all PCSO games for
alleged corruption.

Php 12.62-B worth of illegal drugs seized in Duterte’s first year. Kent

Phillipine Drug Enforcement Agency Chief Isidro Laperna said on
June 23, some 2.246 tons of illegal drugs valued at Php 12.62 billion had been
seized in various police operations in the country since President Duterte came
to power a year ago today.

An Overseas Filipino Worker contracted chikungunya upon arrival in
Taiwan last week. Health workers screened her at Taoyuan International Airport,
where she was tested positive for the mosquito-borne virus. Chikungunya
includes symptoms such as fever, rashes and joint pains.
