Interpretation

The interpretation of the vision of the petron is to become one of the leading and
the only provider of the oil refining in industry. And become one of the customer’s solution

The every mission has its own interpretation they will achieve their vision by the
means of giving a good customers relation and good interaction with high technology and
innovative products and services.

Interpretation

Petron Corporation is one of the largest oil refining and marketing company in the
Philippines. And is a leading player in the Malaysian market. The logo of the Petron Corporation
represents its own company. The logo of Petron Company have different interpretation from
the color to the stroke of lines and the lettering of the brand of their company. The red color is
represents the energy by the means of the fuel they serve. The curve of it represents the
petroleum in the Petron Corporation. The blue color represents the belief of their corporation,
they still rise and rebuild their industry. The blue part of the logo represent the petroleum where
ancient seas were located petroleum reservoirs can be found beneath land or the ocean floor.
The stroke of the Petron has no significant at all. It’s just represent their own company name to
advertise it not only for their company brand but also to their logo.

Analysis/ interpretation:
We can see in this strategy tool by the use of STEP ANALYSIS that the Petron
Corporation has an 11 positive and 6 negative statement. When it comes to socio-cultural we
can see that they have a strategic location, where their customer can gas up easily, the also have
invest in social project, where they are giving scholarship to some students. Their fuel and
petroleum have a good quality but as the negative side it is expensive. They're giving some
technological promotion or freebies which benefits their customer. But sometimes there
services or employee give a miss load of a product. They can expand their business with good
security level and gain more profit by the means of their fuel. Petron is a free market and a
distributor to other countries like Malaysia. Government helps to gain more profit and gives
more order to oil industry in the country, but in the other hand government hinder growth and
earning profit to every company that they control.
