Enrico Case Study

This case study discusses motivating an employee named Mr. Cortes. Mr. Cortes was told he was being considered for a promotion but it has been pending for a long time, which has demotivated him. The factor motivating Mr. Cortes that is not innate is the promised promotion. Herzberg's two-factor theory of motivation best applies to Mr. Cortes' situation. To motivate him, the document recommends clarifying his promotion status and giving him time off to reduce stress before assigning him additional responsibilities without the promised promotion.

hearsay.

Herbergz two factor theory because he is already satisfied with his job, the company and the

3.Devise a plan or strategy to motivate Mr. Cortes to accept additional responsibility and perform as
expected.

To motivate Mr. Cortes it is better if they will clear the promotion position to him first then, give him
some time or vacation to buffer his self before going to work again, he's been there since the beginning
of the company, maybe he also need some incentives to be motivated again to work if he will still not be
