R2. Sc 2 in each sc around (12)

R5. Sc 3, 2 sc in next sc, rep 6 times (30)
R6. Sc 4, 2 sc in next sc, rep 6 times (36)

From now on turn your work after every


Row and make a chain at the end, except
for the last row.
R10 - R16 Sc 32
For the last round, go around the corner
and crochet along the edges.
R11. Sc 13 sc, hdc, dc, trc, dc, hdc, and
at last 13 sc.
You should get the bump in the middle, if
not just add more of less single crochets
along the edges.

Fasten off and weave in the end.

Mouth (Black Yarn)


R1. Ch 4
R2. Sc 3 + 1 ch (3)
R3. Sc 1, dec + 1 ch (2)
R4. Dec (1)
R5. Single crochet all around the triangle

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing together.

Body (Black Yarn)


Start with making 2 feet
R1. 6sc in a magic ring
R2. Sc 2 in each sc around (12)
R3. Sc 1, 2 sc in next sc, rep 6 times (18)
R4. This row in the back loops only, sc 18
R5 - R8 Sc 18
Fill the feet.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing together.

Connect the 2 feet by sewing 1 stitch off each feet together. Skip
those stitches when working around the body.

Arms (Black Yarn, Make 2)

R2. Sc 2 in each sc around (12)
R3 - R5. Sc 12
R6. Sc 2, dec 1, rep 3 times (9)
R7 - R10. Sc 9

Fill the arms.


Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing together.

Light Saber
Start with red yarn
R1. 5sc in a magic ring
R2 - R7 Sc 5
Change to black
R8. Sc 5
In the back loops only
R9. Sc 5
Change to grey
R10 - R12 Sc 5
Fasten off and weave in the end.
Connect with black yarn onto the outer loops of
row 9 and sc 5.
Fasten off and weave in the end.

Collar
The length depends a little bit on how you place your arms but mine
consist of a length 8 sc.
R1. Ch 9
R2 - R3 Sc 8

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing together.

Cape
I made the cape out of black felt. The size depends on how big your
Darth Vader

Darth Vader has become. Its is a simple square/rectangle piece,
folded over the shoulders. You can sew it on or simply glue it.

Crochet Pattern

Sew or glue the cap onto the head.


Place the eyes between the spaces of
the cap.
Sew the mouth onto the head and
embroider grey lines onto the mouth.
Sew the head and arms onto the body.
Sew the collar around his neck and
embroider grey lines onto the collar.
Sew of glue the cape onto the shoulders.
Embroider grey, red and green lines onto
his chest.
