fashion, the brand awareness of Gucci is
extremely high.

GUCCI
WHAT DOES GUCCI MEAN?

Gucci has developed over the years as a symbol of


abundance representing not only the luxury fashion
house, but also as a form of slang. Its most common
vernacular usage is to describe something that is “doing
well’”, and it can be seen in tracks by various established
singers and rappers such as Cardin B and Kane West, in
addition to viral artists such as Lil Pump.
Additionally, Gucci’s history with boldness and opulence
has similarly meant that it has lent itself over as a
consistent source of inspiration for many rappers and
hip-hop artists – leading to the development of this
slang.
ZARA
Zara doesn't have a budget for advertisements; however, they do spend lots of
money on buying storefronts next to luxury brands to "own the label of affordable
luxury" (3). According to Masoud Golsorkhi, the editor of Tank Magazine, "The high
street is really divided according to brand value...Prada wants to be next to Gucci,
Gucci wants to be next to Prada. The retail strategy for luxury brands is to try to
keep as far away from the likes of Zara. Zara's strategy is to get as close to them as
possible" (3). By having a brick and mortar store next to luxury stores the Zara name
gets out as attainable fashion luxury items, although their prices are anything but.
Zara has been able to make a name for itself by consumer word-of-mouth and
providing fashion items quicker than anyone else

VERSACE
Versace is a fashion brand dealing in luxurious items and offering a perfect
blend of intricate, breathtaking and exclusive products to its customers. The
company ensures that original style and designs are offered so as to maintain
its exclusive brand image. Its collection includes Versace Collection, Versace
Jeans and Versus Versace. Product portfolio of Versace has items for male,
female and children.
