1. UE A initiates a VoLTE call by connecting to the LTE network and completing IMS registration. 2. UE A sends an INVITE message to initiate the call setup process which is routed to UE B via the I/S-CSCF, HSS, and P-CSCF. 3. UE B is paged, connected to the network, and the INVITE message is delivered, resulting in call connection and ringing. 4. A conversation takes place using the RTP media path during the call. 5. The call is terminated when UE A or B sends a BYE message and the bearer is released by both UEs.
