Suspension:

A motorcycle suspension system is such a system which absorbs the bumps and suspense for giving comfort of riders by
absorbing the vibrations. It also provides good handling and contributes for breaking.
Normally motorbike has two types of suspension
1. One pair of fork tube for front suspension.
2. Mono shock absorber with swingarm as rear suspension.

LOAD (N)

Fig (a) Load Vs Travel Creo model

Fig (a) shows the graph between applied load (X-axis) and fork travel (Y-axis). As the load on the front suspension
increases, the fork travel distance also increases and it is observed that it follows linear trend. It is taken that 45% of total load is
applied on the front suspension and the corresponding deflections in the fork is calculated according to the applied load. The graph
shoes the linear trend for fork travel when there is an increasing rate of load for 5%.
