In order that the operator and maintainer get familiar with this set of equipment
and that has regulations to maintain equipment, this manual is, thus, formulated. This
manual presents specific requirements on the maintenance of equipment.
Correct using method and maintaining measures, not only can keep the
equipment under good state for a long time, improve the production efficiency and
reduce downtime loss, but also prolongs the its service life to a maximum limit.
To ensure a safe, steady and reliable operation of the products, please read this
set of accompanying documents, especially those items of safety cautions.
Since the product involves a wide range of stuff, this manual presents only the
main parts. As for equipment not mentioned or introduced briefly, refer to their
technical documents respectively for details.

information when publishing. We keep the right to make amendment at any time

Chapter One Safety Rules

To avoid personal injury, environment pollution, equipment damage and property
loss when installing, commissioning, producing and maintaining the HPU house, we
made this rule according to related profession standard and rules.

1.1 Qualification requirement for HPU hose user

The HPU house is used for setting the HPU and disc HPU. The HPU house user must be
healthy and have no diseases that impede this work.

1.2 Security and protecting requirements for HPU house user

To reduce casualty loss and profession danger, working environment should
reach safety requirement. In working environment, operators should be equipped with
protecting tools; according to working character and protecting intention, equip with
right protecting tool and dress rightly.
Safety rules of drilling company, protecting rules of working location and
company should make out standard and requirement for wearing protecting tools.
Distribution of protecting tools should accord with SY/T6524-2002 Protecting tools
wearing requirement for petroleum industry working area.

1.3 Equipment safety requirement for operating and maintenance of

HPU house
1) The diameter of the Wireline lifting the house should not less than 22mm, and
should tight ；
2) Sound insulation should complete, noise factor should less than customer or local
noise standard;
3) Auxiliary equipments such as ladder and protect facility should be installed
completely, fixed firmly.

1.4 Other safety business

1.4.1 Right operating of normal tools

Tools should be inspected carefully before using; tools should be wiped clearly
before using and storing. Tools must not be placed at will, especially at high place;
when storing tools, avoid damage; tool with cutting blade should be equipped with

case, also pay attention to anti-resistant.
For better using tools, here are some suggestions：
1) Teach workers to chose right tools for every kind of work, help and train
them to use tools in right way to establish good habit of choosing and using
tools;
2) Establish the standardized inspecting standard and requirement of tools.
Workers need inspect their tools too. Supply good tools maintenance device
for well site and keep them in good condition.
3) Establish management rules for tools, such as the tool room ；
4) Supply suitable storage facilities for all kinds of tools.

1.4.2 Precaution for drop accident

Elimination of personal injury caused by drop needs one completely, reasonable

maintenance methods, and execute them strictly and gravity.
1) Inspect roof of HPU house and all the equipments, especially lifting lugs,
pins, bolts etc., and should often check, this will help to ensure them fasten
and with no danger, also can help to discover problems.
2) Pay special attention to hand tools: do not take tools when climbing ladders,
two hands should hold railings of ladder to ensure himself and others’ safety.
3) At any time anywhere, when need hand tools on roof, hoist tools by tight soft
rope; after used up, lay down hand tools by that rope. Also hand tools can be
raised by tool kit (tool kit should be carried carefully tighten to ensure
safety)

1.4.3 Safety habit

Establish good safety habit is always good way to prevent accident. Good habit
is: exclusion to accident and watch out for danger, in one word: have enough safety
sense and put them through work.
Good safety habit plays important part in using tool house driller side correctly,
and ensures health of operator. So drilling company should train there workers like
this:
1) Open training class, teach workers HSE; improve workers’ constitution,
safety and protecting skill and general sanitation condition.
2) Establish and amplify safety managing rules, make HSE safety managing

working through installing, using, operating and maintaining of tool house

driller side to decline all risk.
3) Create safety, health working environment, improve working quality.
4) Preclude or reduce environment pollution and noise pollution, preclude
environment damage of drilling work.
5) Wear safety belt or take safety methods when working on or above 2 meters
ground clearance.
6) Forbid tool house driller side user to take or store all kinds of fatigability,
explosive, severe toxicity and radiation things.
7) Forbid drinking before or on work; forbid smoking on work.

Chapter Three Structure and Working schematic

HPU house lay on the supporter of dog house，through connecting pad eye fix
with rig floor，after fixing, the upper surface of HPU house and rig floor are in the
same level，roof set flood light and supply illumination for rig floor.

Roof frame is welded by rectangular tube, t3 corrugated plate constitutes a spire
structure, which can gurantee the roof is strong and lightweight, to facilitate drainage.

Chapter Four Operation Maintenance

4.1 Installation
HPU house is installed before substructure erection
Firstly hoist the HPU house to dog house supporter， through connecting device
connect the HPU house and rig floor.

Warning! HPU house installation, mobilization should be hoisted first and

then use professional lifting padeye; any other equipment is forbidden to use.
Short-distance movement can adopt drag bar. Dragging should go along the house
direction.

Note! When using the HPU house，besides obey the following care and
maintenance terms, should still follow related terms of drilling rig usage
referring to drilling rig service manual.

4.2 Operation maintenance regulation

The users should check the appearance of cooling water tank at fixed period as
planned and report the result, once one drilling month.
The user should period check the skid、column of HPU house deformed,
damaged or not regularly during usage, the welding seam of main stress area is
cracked or not, the sealing of the parts and pipe joints is good or not, the bolts and
nuts loose or not. Any problems occur; the tank should be maintained in time.
When finding the damaged parts and elements, should mark clearly and
obviously for carrying on necessary repair later. Suggest using bright and color
distinct painting, and clean all the painting mark with the original color after repair.
Original element painting shed off should be painted according to the original color.
It is not allowed to install welding device and drilling hole inside the cooling
water tank. Even though the components is damaged or lost in transportation or

operation, they should not be replaced randomly, but to make technical consult to
the Company as much as possible so as to confirm the material of left tool house
and repair method. If there is no consent from the Company, the operator and repair
process should get the permission from mechanical engineer so as to continue the
repairing work.
During using cooling water tank, it should be maintained once a year, and the
rust removal and antiseptic treatment should be performed for cooling water tank
body at least once a year.
The cooling water tank should be cleaned and exhausted regularly, keep the
tank inside clean.

Attention!
When use cooling water tank, the environment temperature should
be higher than -20℃. In above working conditions, if the temperature is
lower than -20 ℃ , confirm low temperature performance of the
material and take necessary safeguard procedures. It must in accordance
with low temperature operation regulations in chapter 16 of API RP-4G.

Warning! Without permission from manufacturer and special

administration agency, drilling hole, cutting hole or welding on the cooling
water tank parts are prohibited.

Chapter Five Movement and Storage of HPU house

5.1 Movement and transport of HPU house
When HPU house is moving, we should strictly avoid component’s clash and
transform. If any of that happens, the components should be replaced in time.
HPU house should avoid clash and damage of protection coat and paint coat.
When it is moving, components of the HPU house should be tightly fastened
and small components should be packed safely to avoid loss or other accidents.

5.2 Notice for hoisting and transportation

 When hoisting transportation proceeds, steel cable should be fixed to lifting bar
of cooling water tank so as to avoid any damage.
 Use top lifting to hoist HPU house to avoid transform.
 Proper supporting device and banding should be adopted so as to avoid clash and
overturn.

5.3 The parameter for HPU house’s main parts

For conveniently hoist and transport，list the main parts size and weight of the
HPU house as below：

5.4 HPU house storage

Before safekeeping of the cooling water tank, its surface and substructure
should be cleaned and dust, dirt and water absorbing materials should be cleaned up.
All lug pin holes and pin axles should be coated with anti-rust oil.
Cooling water tank should be placed on the flat, solid and good drainage dry
ground to avoid rusting or safety accidents.
Wire line and accessories should be painted with antirust oil, wrapped with

plastic cloth and kept in the dry place.

All pins, bolts and nuts and other spares for on site sue should be coated with
anti-rust oil and stored in box.

使用说明书

第一章 安全准则

为避免和防止液压站房在安装、调试、生产、维护和检修过程中可能出
现的人员伤亡、环境污染、设备损坏及财产损失等事故，根据相关行业标准
规范，特制订本准则。

1.1. 液压站房使用人员的资格要求

液压站房是放置综合液压动力站和盘刹液压站的地方，液压站房使用人员
必须身体健康,没有可妨碍本岗位工作的疾病；

1.2 液压站房使用人员的安全防护要求

为减轻事故损伤和职业危害，作业环境应达到安全作业要求，在作业场所
必须配备劳动防护用具，使用者根据作业性质和防护目的不同选择相应的防护
用具，并正确穿戴。
钻井公司的安全规则、作业所在国和当地的劳动保护法规应对钻井工作业
做出明确的劳动保护用品配戴要求和标准，液压站房使用人员的劳动保护用品
配发按 SY/T6524-2002《石油工业作业场所劳动防护用具配备要求》执行。

1.3 液压站房操作和维护的设备安全要求

1) 房体起吊的钢丝绳直径应不小于 22mm，拴紧固牢；
2) 隔音设施完备，噪声指数应低于客户或当地相关噪音标准的要求；
3) 各栏杆，防护设施安装齐全，固定牢靠；

1.4 其它安全事项

1.4.1 常用手工具的正确使用

工具使用前后要细心检查，使用工具前和工具存放前都要将工具擦干净；工

具不得随便摆放，甚至摆到高处易掉落的地方；工具的存放方式应使之免遭受损
坏，带有切削刃的工具放到工具箱里时，其刃口要带套，放到工具箱里的工具要
注意防锈。
为更好、更安全地使用手工具，下面是几项建议：
1) 教育工人对每项工作都要选择正确的工具．帮助和指导工人进行工具安
全使用的分析与训练，养成正确选择和使用工具的安全习惯；
2) 建立正规的工具检查标准和要求。工人自己拥有的工具也要检查。要为
井场提供良好的工具维修设施、始终保持工具处于完好状态；
3) 建立公司的工具管理规则，如工具房的检查制度等；
4) 为各种工具提供合适的存放设施。

1.4.2 预防落物事故

消除落物伤人事故需要建立一条全面、合理的检查和保养路线，并严格、
认真地执行。
1）检查液压站房房顶及设备的所有零部件，尤其是各种绳销子及螺栓、螺
母等，应经常进行仔细检查，这会有助于保证其牢靠或不处在危险状态，及时发
现任何可能需要修理的毛病；
2）特别注意手工具的管理，爬梯子时不得随手带工具，两只手应放到梯子
栏杆上，以保障自身的安全和下放工友的安全；
3）任何人任何时候，在房顶以上需要手工具时，都要用一根结实的软绳把
手工具吊上去；用完手工具后，马上用这根绳子再把手工具放下来。也可以用工
具包把手工具带上去，但工具包要挎好，包口要扎紧，以防工具或工具包掉下来。

1.4.3 安全习惯

养成良好的安全习惯是预防事故发生的最有效途径，良好的安全习惯就是
要做到对事故的杜绝和对危险的警惕，简而言之，就是要有足够的安全意识，
并把它坚定的贯彻于自己的工作中去。
良好的安全习惯对于正确的使用液压站房、延长液压站房的使用寿命、保

障操作人员的安全健康具有极重要的作用，因此在日常工作中钻井公司中要对
员工有如下培养和要求：
1) 定期举行学习班，对员工进行 HSE 宣传、教育与培训，不断提高员工
身体素质、安全防护技能和环境卫生条件；
2) 建立、健全各类安全管理制度，将 HSE 保护管理工作贯穿于液压站房
安装、使用、操作、维护的全过程，将各种风险降至最低；
3) 创造安全、健康的工作环境，提高员工工作质量；
4) 杜绝或尽可能减少环境污染及噪声污染，把钻井作业中对环境的破坏降
至最低；
5) 在距离地面 2 米及以上的高度作业时应配戴安全带或采取安全措施；
6) 液压站房使用人员严禁携带、存放 一切易燃、易爆、剧毒及放射性物品；
7) 上岗及上岗前严禁喝酒，上岗期间严禁吸烟。

第三章 结构与工作原理

液压站房放置于偏房支架上，通过连接耳边与钻台面定位固定，固定后液压
站房底座上表面与钻台面平齐，房顶设置投光灯，为钻台面照明。

第四章 使用维护与保养

4.1 安装

液压站房是在底座起升前进行安装的。
首先将液压站房起吊到底座的偏房支架上，通过连接装置将液压站房与钻台
面连接。

液压站房安装、移运时必须起吊，严禁在任何基础的地面上拖
拉；移运和起吊安装时都必须使用底座吊杠，严禁起吊其他非起吊结
构体，否则会导致其他结构体损坏，影响其正常功能。

4.2 使用维护维护保养规程

液压站房使用时，除须遵守以下维护与保养条款外，还应遵守
钻机使用的相关条款，有关条款请参考钻机使用手册。

使用者应对使用的液压站房按计划定期进行现场外观检查，并报告结果。
一般一个钻井月检查一次。
液压站房在使用过程中应定期检查底座、立柱是否有变形和损坏；主要受
力部位的焊缝有无开裂；连接装置的销子别针是否齐全；螺栓、螺母有无松动；
如发现问题，应及时排除和修理。
在检查时损坏的部位和部件应做出清楚的、明显的标记，以便进行必要的
修理。对此建议使用明亮的、颜色明显的油漆进行标示。修理后这些标志应用
与原构件颜色一致的油漆涂去。原构件油漆脱落的应按液压站房原色涂漆。
未经许可不允许在液压站房及内部安装设备上焊接、钻孔，对运输、使用

中损坏或丢失的构件不能随意代用，应向本公司进行技术咨询。对损坏的构件
进行修理，要尽量和本公司协商，以取得对液压站房原材料和修理方法的确认。
在没有取得本公司同意的情况下，其操作人员和维修施工工艺需经机械责任工
程师的批准，方可进行修理工作。
液压站房在使用期间，一年保养一次，一般情况下，液压站房的底座、立
柱、房顶及墙皮至少一年进行一次除锈防腐处理。
液压站房封存前要清洗房体表面及底座上表面，清除灰尘、脏物和吸水性
物质。所有耳板的销孔、销轴处涂防锈油脂后用塑料布包扎好。

注意！
本液压站房在使用时，环境温度应高于-20℃。
如果低于此温度而在上述工况下使用时，必须对材
料的低温性能予以确认，并采取必要的防护措施。
并应严格按 API RP-4G 第 16 章低温作业条款要求
进行！

警告！ 未经制造商或专门管理机构允许，不得在液压站房任
何构件上钻孔、 割孔或实行任何焊接作业

第五章 液压站房的搬运及存放

5.1 液压站房的搬运

液压站房在移动和运输中应严格防止构件碰撞和变形，如发现碰坏或碰弯的
构件应及时予以修理或更换。

液压站房装运时应避免受撞击而损坏保护层或油漆层。

中途搬运时，液压站房各部件装车必须牢靠，较小的零部件装箱捆扎好，以
防运输途中丢失或其它事故的发生，保证发电机房的运输安全。

5.2 吊装和运输的注意事项

☆ 吊装运输时应把钢丝绳挂在液压站房吊杠上
☆ 使用吊具起吊液压站房，以免液压站房变形
☆ 装运中应采用合适的支撑并适当捆扎，以免撞击损坏液压站房或倾覆

5.4 液压站房的存放

液压站房封存前要清洗房体表面及底座上表面，清除尘土、脏物和吸水性
物质，所有耳板销孔和销轴涂防锈油脂;
液压站房要放置于平整、坚实且排水好的干燥场地上，以免液压站房变形

钢丝绳及附件应涂防锈油脂，用塑料布包扎存放于干燥处;
