Firmware Updates:
This release will address new additions as well as fixes and updates from previously released versions.
Fix auto restoring routine on legacy systems that are equipped with legacy type
compass, (model CC04-A711). No auto restoring permitted on legacy systems
with this type of compass.
Improve the NVS GPS module initialization in order to stabilize the GPS
reliability.

Application Updates:
Software Updates (Application):
Added Polarization (PL) disable/Enable option on all 3 axis legacy platforms to allow legacy
platforms to function as a 2 axis antenna. Polarization can be disabled or enabled to allow the
required function of the configured system.
TR3_V (Vertical Transponder) is selected when the Satellite Offset is set to 90 and to TR0_H
(Horizontal Transponder) when the Offset is set to 0. A0980A and A0750A platforms are
excluded.
Controller log file download is prevented if Controller Firmware and Application Firmware
versions mismatch.
Added GPS module validation indication on the Control Interface, the GPS status will be
displayed in “Yellow” to indicate the values is that of the last (stored) valid GPS reading and is
not of real-time GPS values.
Added GPS module valid and invalid state into log file.
Added GPS Firmware version into Log file and on the About Interface.
Added GPS real time into log file when the GPS is overridden and the GPS hardware is in working
state.
Site name will now be displayed in each interface window in the top right hand bar corner, only
numbers, alphabet characters and spaces are permitted.
New Beams added for Avanti Hylas1, beam table has been updated with beams 1-3, 2-3 and 3-2.
Added Satellites with associated Beam number for the Target Satellites selection in the Controls
Interface for iDirect modems that have Multiple beams configured.
The Baud Rate will now be configured automatically when controller COM interface is
configured.

The Satellite section in the Controls interface will now display the following prefixes in real time
when the values are read from the modem:
FREQ = Frequency
LONG = Longitude
POL = Polarity
SR = Symbol Rate
RX/TX polarity will be displayed for iDirect, Gilat and Newtec only. Hughes HN_JT will
only display TX polarity.

Fixed the default target ID on the Comtech modem configuration, changing the default starting
ID from 0 to 1.
Removed the (-) negative symbol from the satellite offset value for ALL satellites excluding
Eutelsat.
Changed feature name for iDirect Modem Configuration from “Transmit DC Enable” to “Control
Modem Transmit Power” and clarified option meaning:
iDirect modem BUC power LED is ON when the DC Transmit Power is enabled after
locking on satellite.
iDirect modem BUC power LED is OFF when the DC Transmit Power is disabled
after locking on satellite.
When 90 (Vertical) is entered for RX Polarity, 86.5 will be displayed in the Satellite
Offset filed. The value will switch back to 90 for non Eutelsat.
Changed “Read Carrier From Modem” event on iDirect service to prevent the operator from
being able to change the DVB type in the Configuration interface.
Updated Tooway lookup table with new Beam, Eutelsat purple beam 80 is added.
