Pump Selection and Application Guide
Fisher Scientific vacuum pumps combine high tech materials with outstanding engineering. They are
designed to fit most laboratory applications, both routine and research. When choosing a vacuum pump,
consider application, sample composition and operating parameters.
Evaporative procedures that provide significant continuous vapor loads require See our dedicated Life Science brochure to choose the appropriate
a pump with substantial pumping speed. Less vacuum is needed for filtration or general duty pumps and aspiration/filtration stations for your
evaporation of volatile substances. application needs.
