A. Reviewing previous lesson or Directions: Group the class into three. Instruct them to get a piece of paper and pen and get ready to listen to the song
presenting the new lesson. “The Impossible Dream” that will be played and list the infinitives they have heard from the song.

Infinitives at Work
Infinitives were phrases that can be used as noun, adjective, and adverb.
Uses of infinitive
1. Infinitive as a noun- they act as the subject of the sentence.
Ex. To walk a mile every day is my goal.
–to walk is the infinitive. It became a noun because it is the subject.
