The Centro Escolar University Singers Manila aims to promote Filipino culture and reliance by
striving for excellence in music. Under the baton of Prof. Angelito E. Ayran Jr., the CEU Singers
Manila showcases a remarkable and unique Filipino talent.
In 2012, several distinct honors were garnered by the group at 2nd Vietnam International Choir
Competition, Hue, Vietnam in 2012. In addition, the group bagged numerous awards at the 10th
Anniversary A Voyage of Songs, Bangkok, Thailand in 2013
In 2015, the CEUSM was the recipient of the 2015 Aliw Awards Foundation for Best Choral
Group. Also in the same year, the group was a Grand Finalist at the National Music
Competitions for Young Artists held at the Cultural Center of The Philippines.
In 2016, the group won Category Winner and Grand Prix Finalist at 2016 Orientale Concentus
International Choral Competition in Singapore.
In 2017, the group won 2ndPrize award at National Finals of National Music Competitions for
Young Artists, adult choir category.
With its vision of aiming excellence and high distinction and success in the field of choral music,
the CEU Singers Manila bagged 6 Gold Medals in choir festivals in Asia: 4 Golds in the 8th BALI
INTERNATIONAL CHORAL FESTIVAL AND COMPETITION, Bali, Indonesia and 2 Gold
Medals with Excellence Performance Award as special award in 12th INTERNATIONAL
CHORAL FESTIVAL ORIENTALE CONCENTUS, Singapore.
