manuals or in a separate ”Safety and environment” manual.
The safety instructions are structured as follows:
m a section ”General safety instructions”, which exists also
in this manual.
m a section ”Personnel protection”.
m a section ”Safety instructions for operators and opera-
tors’ helpers”.
m a section ”Safety instructions for maintenance person-
nel”.

Introduction
The presetting table is used for preparing off-press the tools
in full register with the cutting die. This preliminary work is
carried out outside the machine.
The positioning of the various tools, is done by means of an
imprint. This imprint can be obtained in different ways:
m A layout film.
m An imprint made with carbon paper.
m A diecut sheet converted in the machine or on Easypress.
m A layout made on plotter.
Notes: This document is to be used jointly with manuals D23
”Design and manufacturing” and D34 ”Converting tools and
production” as well as machine controls and operation.
