Overview
®
The primary configuration tool for configuration, pricing and quoting is Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW). This
guide is intended only to supplement the information on CCW. The CCW tool should be your primary tool for all
pricing, configuration, quoting, and ordering For further information on CCW visit:
http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/events/commerce_workspace.html
This document describes how to configure and order the hardware and software options for Cisco Wide Area
Applications Services (WAAS) products as follows:
Although sizing information is mentioned in this document, refer to the Cisco WAAS Sizing Guide(s) for detailed
sizing guidelines.
Pricing shown is based on the Global Price List (GPL) in U.S. dollars. Any prices listed in this document
are for budgetary planning purposes only and should not be used for quotations. Refer to the Cisco Online
Pricing Tool for accurate prices.
WAAS is an integrated feature for the Cisco Integrated Services Router (ISR) families of products. For
more information see the separate ISR AX ordering guides.

Step 1. Configure the Cisco WAVE platforms with the appropriate software and hardware options.
Step 4. Separately include the Software Application Support Upgrades (SASU) contract for software support in
the order.
● Mandatory: Selection of the relevant part number is required in the CCW tool. (example: chassis, power
cables, software version).
● Optional: Selection of the relevant part number is up to your discretion (example: add a AppNav module or
inline card)
● Auto-expand: Selection of the relevant part number is not required because the part is automatically
included at the end of the configuration process (example: enterprise software license, software accessory
kits, I/O covers for unused slots)

Cisco SMARTnet Support for WAVE Hardware and SASU for WAAS Software
Support for WAVE hardware is offered through an annual Cisco SMARTnet contract program. The available Cisco
SMARTnet and Software and Support with Upgrades (SASU) options are displayed in CCW when you click “Select
Services/Subscriptions.” Properly configured WAAS products include both Cisco annual SMARTnet and annual
SASU service. The CCW tool includes only one type of service: either Cisco SMARTnet or software support, but
not both. You should quote any missing software support part number separately on an annual basis.

Hardware Support: Cisco SMARTnet Contract
WAVE platforms are covered by Cisco’s standard 90-day warranty. For additional Cisco Technical Assistance
Center (TAC) and hardware support, you should order annual Cisco Technical Support Services. After you
complete the configuration and click “Check Configuration” within CCW, appropriate Cisco SMARTnet part
numbers are included based on the hardware service levels you select.
Tables 13 through 16 provide the SKU numbers, descriptions, and costs for the levels of Cisco SMARTnet support
customers may select for each product.

Software Application Support plus Upgrades (SASU) contracts. You must order these contracts separately; they
are not part of the product configuration within the CCW tool. You should quote the missing software support part
number separately. Table 17 outlines SAS and SASU support for WAAS running on WAVE appliances. It also
includes Cisco support for Akamai Connect.
