III. TRAINING DESCRIPTION
A. RATIONALE
A continuing district-based INSET Program is essential for those newly-hired
teachers and continuing professional development for those who are in service. Since
teachers play an important role in the development of the students, INSET has been
one of the keys in enhancing teachers’ professional development.
B. COURSE DESCRIPTION
The three-day Seminar focuses on Issues and Concerns regarding Teaching
Strategies particularly Differentiated Instruction that would surely address the learner’s
capability as an individual with Multiple Intelligence and with individual needs. Another
subject of the seminar are the legal issues that involves the teaching and non-teaching
staff of DepEd Employees. ICT integration would also be discussed as it plays an
important role in Education System nowadays. Through the effort of competent
trainers/speakers and involvement of participants, meaningful assessments would
address the needs of the 21st Century Educators.
IV. OBJECTIVES
1. To widen teachers understanding on Differentiated Instruction
2. To clarify issues and concerns regarding Legal Issues and concerns on DepEd
3. To broaden understanding on ICT integration
4. To demonstrate actual classroom teaching presenting Differentiated instruction
And other teaching startegies
5. To develop good working relationship between the teaching and non-teaching staff
of the institution
