Health Regulation Department Assessment

Assessment

Healthcare Professionals are required to pass DHA assessment to acquire their professional
license and to practice in the Emirate of Dubai. The assessment will be conducted either oral or
online test (Prometric) depending on professional specialty and category.

Oral Exam:

To book an oral assessment the applicant have to submit the application online through
"Sheryan". Once the credentialing process and payment for PSV is completed then the applicant
can proceed to select the oral assessment date.

Two types of assessment schedules are available.


 Normal Assessment.
 Urgent Assessment: Opportunity for earlier dates in the assessment schedule (in 5 business
days)

Process:

1. Go to your pending tasks inbox

2. Click [Open]

3. Click [Select Date]

4. Select Assessment Priority and Assessment Date > Click [Submit]

Assessment Payment

1. Go to your pending tasks inbox

2. Click [Open]

3. Review your payment details > Click [Pay]

4. A payment receipt will be generated > Click [Print Receipt]

Prometric Exam (Online):

DHA conducts online test through Prometric, a professional and well-established entity in
applicant testing and assessment. To view the list of Professional Category / Specialty please
click here.

To book the online test the applicant have to submit the application online through "Sheryan" .
Once the credentialing process and payment for PSV is completed, the applicant will be issued
an Eligibility Number, which is required to complete the online application, book for test date
and select location of the test center.

Note: The online test fees will be paid electronically either by credit card or a prepaid card at prometric
webpage

Process:

1. Go to your pending tasks inbox

2. Click [Open]

3. Eligibility number will be issued (Eligibility number will be active after 5 working days
from the issue date)

4. Read the given instructions carefully (copy and save the page first) > click finish

“Schedule My Test”

6. Choose the country in which you would like to schedule your appointment, then click Next

7. Read and save the information review, and then click Next

8. Read privacy policy, and then click on “I agree” button and “Next”

9. Provide the Eligibility ID and First 4 Characters of Last Name> click Next

10. Schedule your appointment in real-time and receive immediate confirmation. For the
program: select “ Dubai Health Authority” from the drop down menu and choose the country
in which you would like to schedule your appointment, then click Next

ind the closest location(s), please enter a preferred address, city/state, or ZIP/postal code
where you would like to schedule your appointment in the search box below

12. Click on Schedule an Appointment

13. Read Prometric Biometric Consent and click on I agree and then click on Next

14. Select date and time, find available seats in a 3 month period, Find available seats for a
specific day

15. Select the date and time based on the prometric schedule and click Next

16. Fill required information and the name used to schedule your appointment must exactly
match the name shown on your identification, and then click Next

Note:

 The DHA professional license will be issued once the applicant successfully completes the
assessment and all licensure processes.
 The assessment result (if passed) is issued with an eligibility letter which is valid for one
year. If a professional license is not issued during this period, the assessment result will be
considered void and the applicant will be require to reappear for another credentialing
assessment.
 Applicant is allowed to have maximum of three attempts, to pass the DHA assessment. The
applicant cannot take another DHA assessment unless the proof for upgrade with relevant
qualifications or training is provided.
 All assessments will be conducted in English language and no translator is allowed to attend
the oral/online assessment.
