ABD HALIM SYNOPSIS: WATER SUPPLY & WASTE WATER ENGINEERING is a study of water resources, water characteristics, usage and demand of water supply, raw water treatment process and water distribution system. This course also includes the information on process in sewage treatments plant, sludge treatment and disposal. It also emphasize on the parameter of drinking water and effluent from sewage treatment plant.

PLO 1. Apply technical, mathematics, science and humanities knowledge using appropriate civil engineering problems for individual personality development. PO 1 Apply knowledge of applied mathematics, applied science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization as specified in DK1 to DK4 respectively to wide practical procedures and practices.

WEEK 6 WEEK 7 This topic is to expose the student to water properties, techniques and processes of water treatment and the important factors related to water treatment plants.

WEEK 9 Test 1 (CLO 1) WEEK 10 This topic is to expose the student to the important factors related to ponds and storage tanks, basic piping system for water distribution, NRW and factors concerning pipe leakages.

WEEK 12 This topic is to expose the student to the important factors related to Test 2 ( CLO 2) sewerage system, such as its function, sewage seepage, sewerage system design
