SECTION 3. RATE HIKE. The rates provided for herein shall be


increased by 10% every three (3) years hereafter without the need of
an amendatory measure.

2232-99 Amending Chapter II-City Taxes, Article I – Tax on Business, Section 2424-2003,

4178-2013 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3A.02, CHAPTER III –


PERMIT AND REGULATORY FEES Article A. – Mayor’s Permit
Fees on Business, LETTER b) OF SP ORDINANCE NO. 894-92,
ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE CODIFYING THE REVENUE
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BUTUAN, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.

SECTION 1. Section 3A.02, letter (b) of SP Ordinance No.


894-92 is hereby amended, to read as follows:

“b. Where a tax for the year is paid quarterly


upon the option of the taxpayer, payment of the tax for
each quarter shall be made within the first twenty (20)
days of the quarter for which the payment is made,
except for the first quarter which shall be made
every April 30.”

SEC. 4F.01. Definition of Terms. When used in this article, the term:

Environmental Fees - are fees to be imposed to residents/stakeholders


of the locality for the protection and maintenance of the cleanliness,
sanitation, aesthetics of the environment/ecosystem in a particular
community consistent with the “Polluters Pay” principle.

SEC. 4F.02. Imposition of Fees - The City of Butuan shall collect the
following annual fees and charges, among others for the payment of
environmental fees in accordance with the following schedule:
