I would like to introduce myself as Saurabh Verma S/O of Mr. Abhimanyu Verma
born on 15/03/1999. I have completed my 10th in 2015 from MAHARISHI VIDYA
MANDIR SCHOOL ,LALPUR, RUDRAPUR (CBSE BOARD) by securing grade of
9.2 from CBSE and 10+2 in 2017 from JAYCEES PUBLIC SCHOOL, RUDRAPUR, U S
NAGAR board by securing 81.8% in medical stream .I appeared for PTE exam on 21st
December 2018 and secured overall 6.5 band. I intend to use my next few days to sort
out all my paper work and spend quality time with my family as after that I will be
travelling to Australia. I am living with my family. My father Mr.Abhimanyu Verma is
a Businessman and Agriculturist and my step mother Mrs. Meena Verma is an Self
employed woman in handicraft. I have one elder brother named Shubham Verma. He is
pursuing their respective studies. I strongly believe that bachelor‘s degree in
NURSING will help me a lot to elevate my career to the next level.
None of my family member or me has any previous immigration history or any visa
rejections from any country.
Residing at 83 Ashley Street, Torrensville, Adelaide i will be staying with him. It would
cost me approximately AU$200 per week for my living expenses. Her residence is
around 20 km consuming 60 minutes to reach the campus. I will use the public
transport such as the trams or local buses which will cost me around AU$40-AU$50
weekly.
It was only her positive feedback that I made my mind to study in Australia.
After searching for various universities on the internet for my desired program namely,
Bachelor of Nursing, I found that only few institutions offered this program. Those
educational institutions are the The University of Adelaide, Flinders University, Tafe
SA, Think Education Group, EQUALS International, 4 Life College , University of South
Australia (UniSA) etc.
Magnet hospitals typically employ greater numbers of BSN –prepared nurses and
currently require that all nurses managers and nurse leaders hold degrees at the BSN
level or higher “ in 2011 The Institute of Medicine ‘s report recommended that by
2020,80 percent of RNs holds a bachelor of nursing (BSN) degree. This was also noted
in a report titled Institute of Medicine’s report on the future of nursing and has been
followed by the campaign to implement its recommendation. In this report second
recommendation was made to focus on increasing the proportion of registered nurses
(RNs ) with the baccalaureate degree to 80%by 2020. This course has a huge scope as
today there is still a shortage of nurses due to the fact that current nurses census is
made up of more than 50% of nurses above the age of 55 years old and upon retiring
will create the huge deficit, there is still the aim to promote the higher level educated
nurses at the entry level in one’s nursing career.
Australia has some of the best cities of the world for international students providing
the optimum habitat which is crucial for a young mind to not only for learning but also
for the wide spectrum of extracurricular activities for relaxation and social growth. It is
well supported from the fact that one out of every three students in Australian
Universities is international particularly from India. If one takes a glimpse clarifying the
understanding of what makes Indian students to choose Australia for higher education.
The swiftness in adapting to Australian cities climate, heterogeneous culture, ethnicity
and standard of living makes Indians students to think of this country as a perfect
liveable option for the higher studies. Even though the cost of living in Australia is
almost 227% higher than India, the country of Australia offers cheap as well as high
ends costs of living suitable for choice of Indian students. With increasing edge over
scientific and technological innovation resulting from result oriented academic system,
Australia has world’s leading higher education institutions and universities that offer
best academics. Australian degree is highly recognised by the employers all over the
world as it provides the world class education to the students. In order not to
compromise with the quality of education and the bright future, I challenged myself to
study abroad. Well looking into pursuing my studies in India will have very low rate in
educational institutes as per the standards of the graduation have a very less chance of
getting quality education. A degree from top rated foreign university will fetch me elite
education and enhance my excellence.
FUTURE PLANS
On my return to India I will look for the employment in Apollo Munich, Apollo
HOSPITALS Enterprise Limited, Wockhardt Limited, Cipla etc. I am confident from
UNIVERSITY of SOUTH AUSTRALIA which backed me with relevant international
experience , will easily place me as a nurse and will get jobs in private and government
run hospitals , Nursing homes , orphanages ,old age homes , industries , Sanatoriums
and the Armed forces . I can also seek employment in the Indian Red Cross Society,
Indian Nursing Council, State Nursing Councils and various other nursing institutions.
As a nurse I can also take up administrative and teaching positions in medical colleges
and nursing schools. I can work as a Clinical Trial Assistant , Clinical Research

Coordinator, Data Validator ,Medical Coder Data Manager ,Biostastician ,Clinical
Applications Programmer ,Outcome Evaluators etc in a reputable organisation in India

INCOME OF SPONSORS
I understand the funds requirements for Australian (SSVF) policy; we have sufficient
funds in the saving and have good annual income. My parents are sponsoring me. He
runs his own business at Rudrapur , Udham Singh Nagar and he is having annual
income of Rs5,55,000approximately and have fixed deposit of Rs28,00,000 in different
banks in India. My step mother is also working as self employed woman in handicraft
and have annual salary of Rs4,81,000. My sponsors have sufficient funds to take care of
my tuition fees and other expenses in Australia.
* I have to maintain a valid health insurance for the full duration of my student visa.
*I have to inform my university and DIBP about any change of address and contact
details within 7 days.
This initiative and the new step taken by the Australian Government is very beneficial
scheme for the genuine prospective of the students like me and will expedite visa
processing so that such students may be able to attend their courses on time . I feel that
Australia and specifically the UniSA , ADELAIDE will be great place to study and
provide me with a chance to broaden my horizons .
Finally I take this opportunity to thank you for enabling me to express myself.
