CLASSIFICATION OF ADVERTISEMENTS 

CONSUMER ADVERTISING:  
Consumer  advertising  is  messages  paid  for  by  companies  and  delivered  through  mass 
media to inform or persuade consumers of the merits of their brand and products.

TRADE ADVERTISING 
Trade  advertising  is  directed  at  stockbrokers,  wholesalers  and  others  who  are  not 
intended to be the end-user of a product.

AGRICULTURE ADVERTISING  
Agriculture  advertising  is  the  process  of  selling  agricultural  products  and/or  services  to 
consumers and making a profit.

PROFESSIONAL ADVERTISING 
Professional  advertising  means  advertising  your  product  or  service  so  as  to  increase 
brand  awareness  and  improve  your  business  presence.  Professional  advertising  firms are 
engaged  in  creating  quality  advertising  products  that  can  attract  potential  customers  to 
your store.

Industrial  ​advertisements  are  intended  to  attract  buyers,  increase  sales,  expand 
distribution channels, and spread awareness of a company's brand.

A  television  advertisement  is  a  span  of  television  programming  produced  and  paid  for  by 
an  organization.  It  conveys  a  message  promoting,  and  aiming  to  market,  a  product  or

PRINT ADVERTISING 

Print  media  advertising  is  a  form of advertising that uses physically printed media, such as 


magazines and newspapers, to reach consumers, business customers and prospects.

OUT-OF-HOME ADVERTISING (OOH) 

Out-of-home  advertising  or  outdoor  advertising,  also  known  as  out-of-home  media  or 
outdoor media, is advertising that reaches consumers while they are outside their homes.

INTERNATIONAL ADVERTISING 

International  advertising  is  defined  as  non-personal  communication  by  an  identified 
sponsor across international borders, using broadcast, print, and or interactive media.

NATIONAL ADVERTISING 

National  advertising  is  any  advertising  that  is  placed  by  a  company,  organization,  or 
individual that operates on a national or regional (multi-state) basis.

REGIONAL ADVERTISING 

Regional  Advertising  means  broadcast  advertising  paid  for  by  sponsors  which  supply 
goods or services on a regional basis over two or more states.

LOCAL ADVERTISING 

Local  Advertising  is  used  to  optimize  ad  delivery.  This  platform  is  applied  to  customers 
depending  on  their  location.  Making  purchasing  or  service  decisions is influenced by local 
marketing.
