Maximo 7.6 Comparison

 Maximo Asset Management 7.6 has a new framework for installation that provides a single interface
for better usability.

 App Servers – Websphere 8.5.5.3, 8.5, Weblogic 12c
 Databases – DB2 10.1, DB2 10.5, Oracle 11gR2, 12c, SQL Server 2012
 Browser – IE 8, 9, 10, 11
 JRE – 1.7.x

 Licensing:
o Maximo Everyplace is now included as part of 7.6
o Limited Use Licenses – 3 modules per user
New Features and Functionality

 UI Changes:
o New collapsible navigation menu - can be set per system, user or group
o Label Positioning – per system
o New UI Skin – tivoli13 (tivoli9, classic)
o Hover dialogs – configurable through xml

 Record Edit Mode:


o Ability to exclusively lock and edit the record
o Disadvantage - Errors may occur if system events try to updating records while locked

 Integration of mapping and crews capabilities


o Crew management and service addresses
o “Service addresses” captured as part of assets and locations can be used to display records
on a Map.

 Integration:
o Automation script can be used for processing integration data
o Smaller enhancement with message reprocessing and message tracking

o Worklog tab have been added to PO, PR, QR like WOT
