Industrial Training Syllabus for “JAVA”

DURATION: 6 Months (4 hrs a day)


FEE: Rs.20000/- + tax, payable in two equal installments

COURSE CONTENTS:

Core Java Programming:


1. Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming, Java Evolution, Java History
2. Java Features: Overview of Java Language, Constants, Variables and Data
Types, Operators and Expressions, Decision making, branching and looping.
3. Classes, Objects and Methods, Arrays, String and Collections, Interfaces,
Packages, Managing Errors and Exceptions
4. Lambda Expression, Exploring java.time package.
5. Multithreading, Applet Programming, Java AWT, Event Handling
6. Java Swings components.
6. Java I/O Handling, Java Database Connectivity(JDBC)

Advanced Java Programming:


1. Introduction to Web application Development, MVC Architecture
2. Servlets, HttpServletRequest, HttpServletResponse, RequestDispatcher, Filters.
3. Basics of HTML, CSS(Cascading Style Sheets)
4. Introduction to Java Server Pages(JSP), JSP Scripting Elements, Java Beans, JSP Standard
Actions, JSP implicit objects, JavaScript
4. JSTL Tags, JSP Directives, Working with session and cookies
5. Struts2: Features, Model1 vs Model2, Architecture, Steps to create Struts2 Application

Database Concepts:
1. Introduction to Database Server, MYSQL
2. Creating Database, Creating Tables, Relations.
3. MYSQL Workbench.

Industrial Project:
1. Front End: Java
2. Back End: MYSQL
3. Operating System: Window/ Linux

HOW TO APPLY: For Admission, submit your College reference/training letter, admission form
(download from www.cdac.in ), copy of college ID card along with fee of Rs.10000/- + tax (1st
Installment) at CDAC, A-34, Phase 8, Industrial Area, Mohali – 160071. Fee can be paid in
cash/debit card or through Demand Draft in favor of “Director CDAC”, payable at Mohali.

NOTE:
- Seats are limited and admission is on first come first serve basis
- 75% attendance is must for award of certificate
