BIOGRAPHICAL BIBLE STUDY METHOD

Biographical Bible study is focus to Biblical characters their family, growth, God’s dealing with him/her accomplishment, failures
and success.

Objective of this sturdy is to set an example in our own life.

The Process of Doing Biographical Method Study.

1. Choose A Biblical Character to Study.


2. Use Concordance and Bible Dictionary to find Scripture References.
3. Each Reference write your Impression and observations.
4. Write in one sentence your impression and observation.
5. Make an outline of His life.
6. Develop Questions and Have a General Insights.
7. Identify His qualities
8. Bible Truths Illustrated in his/her life.
9. Summary of Lessons Learned from his life.
10. Personal applications.
11. Transferable Concepts.
Example

1. Name : Stephen
2. Scriptures : Acts 6:3-8:2, Acts 11:19; Acts 22:20
3. Acts 6:3-8:2 a Chosen deacon who preach the Gospel and murdered.
Acts 11:19 Stephen was the first Christian martyr.
Acts 22:20 his death was through the consent of Saul or Paul.
4. Stephen was an early Christian who had a tremendous testimony in the church , a powerful preacher and witness, the first
martyr in faith.

The outstanding characteristics of Stephen were his commitment to the Lord and his willingness to give and do
everything even to his last breath .

accusation with calm and prayer.
