Choose good typefaces; readable, clean and clear.
Many fonts are not clear or readable. They are more appropriate for logos. Do not choose too
fancy typefaces, because your prospect buyers will find it hard to read your title and author

Upload your book to Amazon KDP

Now it is time to upload your finished book on Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) and set
up all the essential Amazon Accounts. Here is what you need to do:

that even if you already have an account on Amazon as a client, you need to create a
new one for KDP. You may choose the same name and email and password for this
account, like the one you have on Amazon.com

ISBN (optional): “If you have purchased an ISBN for your eBook enter it here. ISBN for print
edition should not be entered in this field.”
As long as you promote your book by yourself (self-publishing) through Affiliate partners, you
defiantly don’t need an ISBN. Even if you decide to promote your book through Amazon.com,
you still don’t need this number. It is required only If you choose to print it and promote it
through traditional bookstores. But why should you do such thing? An ISBN number can cost
hundreds of Dollars, and it is an entirely outdated trend. In addition to this, printing books cost
tons of money, and it is mostly improbable that you will sell half of your printed copies unless
you already are an established author or you have thousands of dollars spare to spend on
traditional advertising.
Beware, some publishers (or self-publishing service companies) try to steal you by making
you think you need an ISBN and they sell it to you $250 or more.

Verifying your Publishing Rights (Required): “According to U.S. law, creative writing is copy-
right-protected as soon as you write it down. The only question is whether or not you'll be able
to prove that you were the first one to write it. There are two ways you can do this, one large,
one small. The large way is to send a copy to the Library of Congress. That's overkill, though,
unless you have some strong belief that someone out there is drooling at the thought of
stealing your work, I'd go with option b: mail it to yourself.
Why mail it to yourself? Well, when you mail something the Post Office puts a date-stamp on
it, and because it's a Government Organization, that constitutes legal proof of time. Just send
your manuscript to yourself and DO NOT OPEN THE LETTER. File it away somewhere, and if you
ever need to prove that you were the one that wrote the material in question, you can use that

Here there is a wealth of online bookstores. My personal experience says that you cannot excel
at everything and to promote your books properly you need focus and determination. So, if
you don’t have 24 hours per day, or at least a couple of Virtual Assistants, to organizing,
controlling and taking care of all those sites, it is better to stick to just a few of them, or even
just on Amazon.com. After all, you make more sales the higher you are on the ranking pages,
and it is impossible to be on top of every site if you promote all of them equally.

Google+ Is a network that not too many people use as I have realized (not like FaceBook and
Twitter I mean) but there is a great hack here: whatever is posted on google+ ranks EXTREMELY

Amazon bestseller:
It doesn’t matter. You may try again, after 90 days, when KDP Select allows you to promote
your book for free once again. I know a great Author, Marc Reklaw, who’s book has been an
international #1 Amazon Bestseller, and he has been translated to Korean, and just recently he
had a contract with one of the greatest Japanese publishing houses!!! But you know what?
Even though he tried most of the things mentioned here, he managed to be a Bestseller only
on the third try. All the ideas and tools provided here are valuable, and they work. But I cannot
promise you success from the first time. I know some people who have achieved it instantly,
