to suit the needs of the professional mechanic. Prevent
loose fasteners and equipment failure with a few drops
of a LOCTITE® threadlocker; fill the inner voids in press
fits with LOCTITE® retaining compounds; use LOCTITE®
anaerobic pipe or thread sealants to prevent leakage
in metal fittings caused by vibration loosening, tape
shredding, solvent evaporation and temperature cycling;
and seal plastic and metal fittings with LOCTITE® non-
hardening pipe joint compound.
Invented by Henkel as a revolutionary method to positively lock and seal threaded fasteners,
LOCTITE® threadlocker adhesives are used in a wide range of applications – from delicate fuel
injection components to heavy-duty transmission and engine assemblies. Specified by automotive
OEMs and approved for use on factory assembly lines, threadlockers work by filling the spaces
between threads. The result is a secure, one-piece assembly that will not loosen under stress.
