Deforestation
Deforestation
Deforestation
1. Definition
Deforestation can be interpreted as damaging the forest by cutting down trees
illegally and caused the forest are being deforested or no trees growing in the area.
Forests are a resource, but they are also large, undeveloped swaths of land that can be
converted for purposes such as agriculture and construction. In Indonesian
deforestation occurs mostly in the Sumatran and Kalimantan forests.
4. Solution
Possible solutions by me:
a. Hold forest supervision, control and management. In order for this to run
smoothly, of course this must be done by all parties, both the whole community
and the government itself.
b. Motivating people to be environmentally responsible, especially forests. In
terms of motivating this, there must be pioneers or those who are willing, so
that the whole community will follow the example of the pioneers. Examples
are made, such as: reforestation by means of community forests, not littering,
etc.
c. It is necessary to emphasize that planting trees is planting good because the
benefits of trees to clean the air, maintaining the presence of water and fertility
of the soil is for the good of fellow humans as well.
d. Each region needs to be made aware that urban areas that are less green can
disrupt health and reduce the beauty.
Possible solutions by government:
a. The government has enacted a law on someone who intentionally commits
illegal logging and extracting excessive forest products without permission
from the authorities, then that person will be sentenced to prison and fines.
b. The government also formed a team that was tasked with supervising,
maintaining and managing forests well.
