Telangana Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Finance Corporation Ltd (TRICOR),
Hyderabad.

CM ST Entrepreneurship & Innovation Scheme

TRICOR, Tribal Welfare Department has conceptualized a new scheme with the
nomenclature "CM ST Entrepreneurship & Innovation Scheme" for promoting industrialization
and entrepreneurship among Schedule Tribes. The programme includes capacity building
training & handholding support for financial and marketing linkages through Telangana
Incubation Center for Tribal Entrepreneurs (TITCE) set up in partnership of Indian School of
Business (ISB) and financial assistance from TRICOR. The main objectives of the scheme are:

1. To promote entrepreneurship culture among Scheduled Tribes.

2. To nurture tribal youth to be employment providers through enterprise development.

3. To create new income generating avenues, thereby resolve unemployment.

4. Grass root economic development at district level.

5. To facilitate innovative business solution for un-met social needs.

6. To create incubation center, which shall be responsible for providing end to end
business support ecosystem for tribal entrepreneurs on a continuous basis.

I. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

o The prospective entrepreneur who is having innovative ideas shall be given


preference.

o Highly qualified technocrats will be considered.

o Entrepreneur is having thorough knowledge & experience in the proposed activity.

o New startup entrepreneurs will be encouraged.

o All communities among Scheduled Tribes shall be given equal priority and some
reservation criteria will be ensured for different Scheduled Tribe categories.

o Candidate shall be a graduate of any stream ( relaxation will be given to the


candidates from agency areas).
o Candidate having 2 years of working experience shall be given preference.

o Preference shall be given to the PvTGs.

II. FUNDING PATTERN

o Subsidy - 35% on the unit cost subject to maximum of Rs.50,00,000/-.

o Additional 5% subsidy for the enterprises set up in scheduled area, i.e., 40%, on the
unit cost, subject to maximum of Rs.50,00,000/-.

o Additional 10% subsidy for Scheduled Tribe women entrepreneurs i.e., 45% on the
unit cost, subject to maximum of Rs.50,00,000/-.

o 10% of the unit cost shall be borne by the beneficiary as a beneficiary contribution.

o Remaining loan from the financial institutions.

Interested & eligible ST entrepreneurs shall submit their application through


online with all the required documents at www.twd.telangana.gov.in on or before
28.02.2018, 5.00 PM.
