1. Software Description
The software developed by its own team ‘BENBOX’.After constantly upgrading the software features improved steadily.The software is
mainly used to control the laser engraving machine of ‘BENBOX’.After connected upper computer and lower computer,we can use the
software for precise control.The software interface and software details, we will detail below.

To sum up, the whole process is:

1. Properly assemble the product, connect the motor connection correctly;
2. Install the driver software, install the Benbox software;
3. Set the correct parameters;
4. Adjust the focal length to minimize the laser focus, test the laser;
5. Import the picture and adjust the picture size;
6. Click the Start button to start the engraving.

2. Software Architecture

Install the control software Benbox 3.9.69(Or other versions). Follow the prompts to install, to complete the installation.

Open the software, we can see:

There are many buttons on the screen, let's introduce one by one.

Language conversion option

Open files

Move buttons --- move your laser and choose your zero point

Laser control buttons/ Laser off/ Laser low/ Laser high/ Laser test

Preview/Start or pause/Stop buttons

G code debugging/Upload firmware

Hidden interface
Click the parameter setting button , we can see that there are two pages:
After the above set up, you must check "confirm".
5: Step speed - Manual blank line speed and solid engraving speed, and burn time
adjusted to achieve the desired effect! ~
6: Manual control of moving distance, unit MM.
7: Line by line and Z word scans are used in bitmap grayscale, where the vector is
input only to the outline of the graph.

Important: when the motor is connected with the drive and control panel, it can
not be pushed back and forth by hand, otherwise it will damage the control panel,
and the software does not
It's better not to unplug the USB line when it's closed! ~
The above configuration are hardware-related, if in doubt, please consult the hardware section.
Please set according to the parameters in the picture below : Click OK to save this informations.
Read about this :

Look at this picture, this is the origin location. After clicking here, you can move the origin, make sure to align the two "0"s, and
then right click on the image to exit the positioning. Click on the picture and see a box at the bottom right of the picture. Drag the
bottom right of the picture to change the size of the picture, not by scrolling the mouse to enlarge the picture.
If you are carving things of different materials, you can adjust the data of these 3 places, as shown in the figure where ABC is shown.
You can change the parameters according to the engraving effect.

Eg :
A : Stepping speed, from 500 to 800, or to 1000
B : Burning time, from 10 to 5,or to 1
C : the moving speed of the positioning , from 800 to 900,or to 1000 .

Modify the parameters depending on hardware ,

3. Software Step

If the connection is unsuccessful, restart the software and check the hardware is functioning properly.You need to connect an external power
supply to make sure it can work normally.
All the machines, modules and software support PWM laser power control, so the high-power
module can control the power output by carving software in real time, so as to achieve the
engraving effect of small power module. For the same material, if the different power modules can
be carved or cut, then the power module carving or cutting speed can be faster.

(1) Modify the parameters depending on hardware

(2) This information is based on engraving modify the way you want:

(3) Load picture you want to carve on software:

4) And you can see the size of your picture.Click ‘low light intensity’button to aim at your object.I’ll show you how to do this:

Adjust the focal length to minimize the laser focus, test the laser;
Makes this point minimum by focusing knob:
Otherwise, there is no way to carve
The zero point is aim at this ‘0.0’point:
I will play a little as a reference in here,then click start......just wait......
Carving time by the size of the picture and your set!
So,Can you understand the role of the zero point?It does not occur under normal circumstances,I just show

you about this. If we choose OUTLINE way to carve,you can get this:
(4) I will show you more practical function:

This is a beautiful photograph, is my goddess.I’ll show you how to process it.

Opening it becomes a grayscale,and you can try to engrave it......

Click it and you can see next:
