The course completes the process of providing the students with a strong

grounding on the English communication skills demands of the workplace, a
process began in ENG 12. ENG 13 promotes further development of
communication skills – speaking, listening, writing, and reading – through an
integration of learning tasks with real-world tasks. It covers such areas as basic
business and technical writing, report writing and presentation, cross-cultural
workplace issues, and the job application process. Credit Unit(s): 3 Unit(s). Pre-
requisite: ENG12.
