User Manual for Web Server Tracking

1. Web Registration
1.1 Open web server www.gpstrackerxy.com , you will see following interface.

1.2 Choose the server you would like to use. For free IMEI, only Server 1 is available. IMEI
with paid license can use either one, but server 2 is recommended.
After click either server, you will see following interface:

1.3 Click language column to choose language


1.4 Click “Register” to register your account; fill in user name, password and IMEI of your tracker.

1.5 After register your account, you can login by User ID and password.

1.6 Then you find “System Settings”-“Terminal Management”-“ Add” IMEI


1.7 Fill the IMEI No. , name the tracker, choose Icon, model, Group Name. And click “√ ” to save

it.
Note: The IMEI you need to add must be never added in any our servers before and it must be
not expire.

1.8 After save it, you can see your tracker in the terminal list as following:

1.9 If you want see other trackers in same account at same time, you can add more IMEI in
terminal management.

2 GPRS Setting
2.1 Setting up the APN
2.1.1 APN standards for Access Point Name and differs with each GSM network. For more
information about this, contact your local Sim Card Network Operator to know the APN.
2.1.2 Text the tracker a SMS “apn+password+space+your local APN” via mobile and if succeeded
in setup, the tracker will return the message “APN OK”.
e.g. apn123456 cmnet

2.2 GPRS User ID and password Setup


2.2.1 Most networks do not require User ID and password authentication while setting up the APN.
However, if your networks require this setting please configure as following:
Send SMS “up+password+space+user ID+space+password”
e.g. up123456 jonnes 666666
2.3 Server IP and port setup
Send SMS as below via a mobile phone: “adminip +password + Space + IP address+space+port
number”. If succeeded, “adminip OK” is returned by the tracker in SMS.
e.g. adminip123456 202.104.150.75 9000 (Server 1 for trial)
P.S. if use trial server1 and never configured another IP, this step can be skipped, because the
default settings is 202.104.150.75 and port is 9000)
e.g. adminip123456 202.104.149.227 9000 (Server2)

2.4 Switch to GPRS Mode


Send SMS “gprs+password” to the unit, and it will reply “GPRS ok!” and it will switch to GPRS
mode.
e.g. gprs123456

2.4 Status Checking


Send SMS:”check+password” to the tracker device, it will reply the recent status via SMS. If GPRS
is ON, it meant you do GPRS setting correctly, then you go back to your account, and you will see
your tracker is “online”
e.g. check123456

3 Web Platform operation.


3.1 Click the tracker in the terminal list, tracker will update the coordinates one time
3.2 You can click menu ”Terminal Control”-“” track” to setup the multi continuously tracking.

3.3 Click menu”Terminal Time” to setup your local time zone for tracker.
3.4 Click menu “Reports”-“History Message” to view the history data and alarms, and you can
also export to excel or KML or GPX, KML and GPX file can be opened in Google earth to show
you the route your vehicle passed by.
3.5 Creat Sub-account
3.5.1 You can click”System setting”-“account management” menu to open sub-account for your
clients.

3.6.2 Click menu “ add “ to open sub-account. And click “permission” to give permissions for sub
account, for example, there is two sub account in my account, test1 and test 2, click “permission”,
you will see following pictures:
