are designed to handle a variety of low flow applications with
pressures as high as 250 bar. Cage guided design ensures plug
stability.
High Cv ratio: Cv ratio of 500:1 provides wider application range.

MIL 41000 HEAVY DUTY CAGE GUIDED CONTROL VALVES

Features
Higher allowable pressure drops: Cage guided valves provide
exceptional performance over a wide range of pressure drops typical
of severe services. These valves also handle a vast majority of all shut-
off pressures with standard pneumatic spring diaphragm actuators.
High capacity with low pressure recovery: Flow capacity is at top levels
for contemporary cage guided valves and is attained with very little
pressure recovery as indicated by the high C factors, which minimises
f
possibility of cavitation in liquid service.
High performance material is standard: Material specified as standard
has been selected to provide trouble free operation in services with
high pressure drops & extreme temperatures.
Tight shut off valves: For lower sizes unbalanced design has Class V
leakage. For higher sizes, the exceptional single seated leak tightness
of Class V is achieved by the specially engineered options viz. 1.
Auxiliary shut-off pilot plug : The pilot plug closes the balancing holes
located in the main plug in shut-off condition. 2. Self energised seal
rings : Pressure energised seal ring pressing against walls of the cage &
plug arrests leakage past the seal ring.
Lo-dB / Anti-cavitation cages: Noise attenuation & cavitation control
is achieved by replacing conventional cages with Lo-dB cages.
Special Options: Double cage design, Two stage design with diffuser
seat ring, Multi-stage design with concentric cages.
Available Sizes & Rating
¾” to 14”: ANSI 150# to ANSI 2500#

Seat Leakage Class (as per ANSI/FCI 70.2)
Standard : Class III & Class IV Optional: Class V

3
MIL 50000 CRYOGENIC CONTROL VALVES
Features
Extended body construction: This ensures that stuffing box is as far away as
possible from the fluid flow area so as to prevent freezing of the packing.
Zig–Zag Flow path: Minimises body size to reduce heat in-leak thus preventing
loss of energy from the fluid.
Heavy guided extended tubular plug: The plug is guided heavily along the body
wall close to the seating area ensuring plug stability despite the extended plug.
Tubular construction again minimises heat in-leak.
Special Options: Vacuum jacketting, Bellow sealed bonnet.
Available Sizes & Rating
½” to 6”: ANSI 150# to ANSI 600#
Seat Leakage Class (as per ANSI/FCI 70.2)
