Mil-Globe Control Valve
Mil-Globe Control Valve
Mil-Globe Control Valve
Top & Bottom Guiding: Provides adequate support against side loads
High allowable pressure drops: These valves incorporate simplest form of balanced
construction and provide high pressure drop capability with standard actuators.
High capacity with low pressure recovery: Flow capacity is at top levels for contemporary
double ported valves and is attained with very little pressure recovery as indicated by the
high C factors, especially for V-Port plug design.
f
Invertible bodies & plugs: The same direct spring diaphragm actuator can provide both
air-to-close & air-to-open actions.
Special Options: For moderate applications bubble tight leak tightness of Class VI is
achieved, using adjustable, soft seated plugs.
1
MIL 21000 TOP GUIDED SINGLE PORTED CONTROL VALVES
Features
Heavy, Rugged Top Guiding: Heavy top plug guiding provides sufficient support to
ensure plug stability.
Low noise / Anti-cavitation trim: By simply replacing the conventional plug with
Lo-dB design, noise attenuation / cavitation control is achieved.
Tight shut-off: Class IV leakage is standard, Optional constructions meet Class V &
Class VI leakage standards.
Threaded or Quick-change trim: Threaded & clamped seat rings can be provided.
Special Options: Bellow sealed bonnet for emission control, Multi-stage designs
available for severe applications.
Available Sizes & Rating
½” to 2” : ANSI 150# to ANSI 2500# 3” to 10”: ANSI 150# to ANSI 600#
Seat Leakage Class (as per ANSI/FCI 70.2)
Standard: Class IV Optional: Class V & Class VI
2
MIL 29000 MICROPAK VALVES
Features
High performance control for low flow applications: These valves
are designed to handle a variety of low flow applications with
pressures as high as 250 bar. Cage guided design ensures plug
stability.
High Cv ratio: Cv ratio of 500:1 provides wider application range.
Integral actuator & positioner: Force multiplying actuator with
rolling diaphragm & buit-in valve positioner provides compactness.
High performance materials: The valve design has integral body &
bonnet of forged stainless steel and solid stellite valve plug.
Material of construction has been selected for high performance &
long life when handling high pressure drops & corrosive fluids.
Field Reversibility: Air action can be reversed by merely relocating
the pivot pin.
Available Size & Rating
1”: ANSI 600# to ANSI 1500#
Seat Leakage Class (as per ANSI/FCI 70.2)
Standard: Class IV Optional: Class V
3
MIL 50000 CRYOGENIC CONTROL VALVES
Features
Extended body construction: This ensures that stuffing box is as far away as
possible from the fluid flow area so as to prevent freezing of the packing.
Zig–Zag Flow path: Minimises body size to reduce heat in-leak thus preventing
loss of energy from the fluid.
Heavy guided extended tubular plug: The plug is guided heavily along the body
wall close to the seating area ensuring plug stability despite the extended plug.
Tubular construction again minimises heat in-leak.
Special Options: Vacuum jacketting, Bellow sealed bonnet.
Available Sizes & Rating
½” to 6”: ANSI 150# to ANSI 600#
Seat Leakage Class (as per ANSI/FCI 70.2)
Standard: Class IV Optional: Class V & Class VI
MIL 78000 ANTI-CAVITATION & LOW NOISE MULTI-STEP HIGH PRESSURE DROP CONTROL VALVES
Features
High allowable pressure drops: The special design provides control of high pressure
fluids without erosion, vibration & high noise levels associated with conventionally
designed control valves.
Adiabatic Flow with Friction: Reduces pressure much like pressure loss occurring in a
long pipe line.
Low pressure recovery: Minimises potential for cavitation of liquids & contributes
towards reduction of noise for all fluids.
Balanced trims: Available for sizes 2” and above allow much higher shut-off pressures
with conventional actuators.
Special Options: Soft seat construction with encapsulated inserts, Angle & Inline body
configurations.
Available Sizes & Rating
½” to 6”: ANSI 900# to ANSI 2500#
Seat Leakage Class (as per ANSI/FCI 70.2)
Standard: Class V Optional: Class VI
4
MIL 81000 THREE-WAY CONTROL VALVES
Features
Combining & Diverting: Separate designs available for combining & diverting
service.
Plug stability: Valves are designed to be installed with flow tending to open both
ports. The important advantage of this design is inherent plug stability.
Special Options: Soft seat construction
Available Sizes & Rating
¾” to 10”: ANSI 150# to ANSI 1500#
Seat Leakage Class (as per ANSI/FCI 70.2)
Standard: Class IV Optional: Class V & Class VI
