* Over 5 years in-depth experience in installation, migration, configuration, administration and


troubleshooting of IBM WebSphere Application Server V5.x/6.x/7.0 with strong knowledge and
experience of operating systems including Windows 2003, AIX 5.x, Linux Red Hat 3.x, 4.x, and
Sun Solaris 8.x, 10 platform.
* Experience in Enterprise applications Deployment and administration of WebSphere resources
in Development, Integration, Test, and Production environments with Configuration of JDBC
Providers, Data Source, Virtual Host, Web Server Plug-in and Session Management technique.
* Experience in installing Fix Packs, Cumulative fixes and Patches to bring the server instances
to the latest versions and decrease vulnerability.
* Experience in Implementation of Work Load Management (WLM) and failover using Vertical
and Horizontal clustered environment to avoid single point of Failure and distribute user load on
the high availability of applications.
* Experience in troubleshooting and fixing problems through analyzing trace logs, system logs
on Application Servers related issues, Out of Memory issues, performance issues using Verbose
GC logs, heap dump issues, tuning issues and monitoring issues using Resource Analyzer, Tivoli
Performance Viewer and other third party monitoring tools like ITCAM.
* Extensive experience in all phases of software life cycle with emphasis in Designing,
Developing, Implementation, Deployment and Support of distributed enterprise scalable, secure
and transactional J2EE applications.
* Experience in using Remote Cache Access (RCA) to reduce the redundancy of cache content
and maximize network performance.
* Experience in setting up, configuring and implementing various authorization and
authentication models including LDAP and LTPA in e-commerce applications.
* Configured and implemented of SSL certification and Single Sign on (SSO) Realms.
* Experience in writing UNIX shell scripts to develop package, automate reporting jobs and
implementing backup/recovery strategy.
* Experienced in WebSphere administration, configuration and deployment of enterprise
applications with wsadmin tools using JACL and Jython scripts.
* Technical, creative, multitasking, self-starter, effective team player and excellent
communication skills with ability to quickly master of new technologies and apply its full range
of capabilities.
* Dedicated and understanding the demands of 24/7 system maintenance and has good customer
support experience.
