    Group-B- NRPL Jalandhar (Ambala Jalandhar Section 80.0 to 86.0 Kms)

    Show Cause Notice no. NR/MJ/JAL/15.34 dated 21.10.2019, Email dated 19.10.2019, 14.10.2019,
    26.09.2019 and 18.09.2019

    Dear Sir,

    This has reference to the subject work awarded to you vide LOA no. 25991445 dated 15.06.2019. Specific
    notice for commencement of work was issued w.e.f 15.10.2019 and subsequently through verbal and
    email correspondence, you had been repeatedly advised to start work at site. Further, vide show-cause
    notice dated 21.10.2019, you had been advised to immediate deploy your team at site for staring of
    work. However, till date, you have not responded to our any communications. There is no progress of
    work at site and even after around sixteen days of site clearance work has not been started by you.
    Contractual date of work completion is 14.03.2020.

    As you are aware that this job is related to mainline maintenance undertaken by Corporation, linked to
    IOCL’s core activities, and thus being monitored at highest level, it is not possible to further delay this
    work. It is, therefore, decided to offload work of Coat and Wrap Refurbishment work of Mathura Jalandhar
    Pipeline under Northern Region Pipelines; Group-B- NRPL Jalandhar (Ambala Jalandhar Section 80.0 to 86.0
    Kms) for getting work done at your risk and cost as per following provision of General conditions of
    Contract:

    Clause 5.4.8.1, d of GCC that relates to offloading of contract as produced below:


    1. Clause 7.0.1.0, (i) a of GCC that relates to termination of contracts as produced below:

    2. Clause 7.0.1.0, (i) h & i of GCC that relates to abandonment/Suspension of work as produced
    below

    This letter may be treated as a formal notice by the Engineer In-charge to invoke above clauses of GCC.
    You are requested to kindly reply in writing for any concern, if any. Process of termination of contract
    shall be started after completion of seven days from issue of this notice.
    You may acknowledge receipt of this letter immediately and must summit reply in writing within seven
    days, failing which it shall be presumed that your concur with our observation and actions.
