IMPORTANT:
R= 4,7 Kohm A battery must be connected to back-up the unit in case of mains failure.
The dialler is protected againt overvoltages on the telephone line but a correct protection can only be
obtained throught a correct ground connection.
Warranty will not be applied in case of dammage caused by lightnings, overvoltages, etc...

TERMINAL DESCRIPTION
TELEPHONE LINE
(1) + 14 Device powering. positive must be connected to the + 14 terminal. Important connect
(2, 7) GND battery TO THE TERMINALS OBSERVING THE POLARITY.

EXTERNAL MODULE
Cod. 563000 (3) START Call cycle START command. The command can be programmed as normally open or
closed towards negative. The START command is given according to P1 position by an

open or closed button and works only when enabled by the READY command.

The output is active from the begining of the call cycle and remains active until an
answer is given and the hand-free dialog begins. In case no answer is given the
command will be active until the new cycle starts automatically.

REMOTE CALL FOR INTERROGATION PRESENTATION

The dialler works as indicated below :

REPORTER 2000 authorize us to call the car by phone to activate the hands-free communication when THE READY COMMAND enables or disables the START COMMAND . When READY is active, the
START COMMAND activation will provoke the CALL CYCLE on the programmed telephone numbers.

At the third ring the REPORTER answers and sends you a long tone.
P1 ON (NORMALLY CLOSED BUTTON)
Enter your code 9 9 9 9 on the keyboard of your DTMF telephone. Terminal 4 (READY) not connected.
Press the key to validate the code. Terminal 3 (START) connect a normally closed button (towards GND). When GND falls the dialler will
begin the call cycle.
P1 OFF (NORMALLY OPEN BUTTON)

arrives the dialler starts the calls.

Use of START and READY commands (in this case the control panel foresees the “alarm filtering”):

HOW CAN I PROGRAM THE PHONE NUMBERS CALL CYCLES AND HANDS-FREE COMMUNICATION

- you can program up to 4 telephones numbers;
- each telephone number can have up to 32 digits.

When you press the key ESC inside a function you will jump to the MAIN MENU saving the changes
eventually made. If you press the same key twice you will quit the MENU and return directly to the stand-
by condition.

TESTING AN EMERGENCY CALL HOW I CAN MODIFY THE INSTALLER CODE

TEST CALL AND CONVERSATION.


Code length is 4 digits MIN and 6 digits MAX.
The VOCAL TEST procedure sends the recorded message to the selected programmed number. OK OK Entering the new code in this function will

HOW I CAN MODIFY OPTIONS

Modify some parameters of the dialler.

DIALLING MODE :
DTMF Normally DTMF (MULTIFREQUENCY) is used. Use KEY
to change DIALLING MODE to PULSE MODE

DELAY ON START BUTTON changed by KEY


DELAY NO NO: no delay;
YES: START command delayed. The START BUTTON must be pressed for 3
seconds at least to provoke a EMERGENCY CALL. If the button is pressed for less
ESC than 3 seconds there is no call.

OPTIONS
IMPORTANT:
Press KEY ESC once to jump to the MAIN MENU and press it twice to return in stand-by condition.

HISTORICAL LOG INTERROGATION HOW CAN I RECORD THE MESSAGE

Having entered the CODE, you will enter the MENU that enables you to brownse the historical file.

? You have two possibilities when you interrogate the historical log :
HISTORY
1) NO NEW EVENTS (no alighted icon)
In this case you will have to select with the keys the icon
of the old events you want to visualize and press .

2) NEW EVENTS PRESENCE (some icons are on)
In this case you do not have to select anything as using the keys
