Dear Chris
I am pleased to extend to you this offer of part-time employment with Liquor Stores Inc.,
(the “Employer”), as a Sales Associate , commencing September 16 2019 . In this position, you will
report to Theresina Marler , Store Manager. Your position is based out of Store # 526 ,
#155 1020 Sherwood Drive , though you may be expected to travel to various locations as needed.
Please consider the details of your individual offer as private and confidential. The terms and conditions of
this offer are as follows:
1. Your hourly rate will be $ CAD (“Hourly Rate”). Hourly rates are subject to adjustments at the
discretion of the Employer which may be made taking into consideration an individual’s personal job
performance, the economic circumstances of the organization and a review of comparable jobs in the
industry.
2. You will earn vacation pay at 4% to be paid on each pay cheque according to the Employer’s bi-weekly
pay schedule.
3. As a part-time employee, you will be expected to work a rotating schedule which includes days, evenings,
weekends, and holidays.
4. Your probationary period (“Probationary Period”) will be the first 90 days in this position,
commencing September 16 2019 .
5. The Employer has a number of policies which are in place, and which govern the conduct of employees.
You will be provided with these policies, and by accepting this offer agree to be bound by them and any
changes which are made to those policies from time to time. You will be provided with changes to these
policies as they occur.
“Termination Date” shall mean your last day actively at work for the Employer regardless of the
reason for cessation of employment and whether or not advance notice was given.
You understand and acknowledge that your employment can be terminated by the Employer with cause
at any time, and without notice.

You understand and acknowledge that the Employer may terminate your employment without cause at
any time in its sole discretion by complying with the minimum termination obligations specified in the
applicable employment standards legislation in the province in which you are employed. This will
constitute full and final satisfaction of all rights or entitlements which you may have arising from or
related to the termination of your employment, including notice, pay in lieu of notice, severance pay,
benefits etc. whether pursuant to contract, common law, statute or otherwise. If the Employer
terminates your employment without cause, the Employer shall not be obligated to make any payments
to you other than those provided for in this paragraph, except for any accrued amounts which may be
due and remaining unpaid at the time of termination of your employment.
You understand and agree that all benefits of employment shall cease on the Termination Date, and the
Employer has no liability for any damages caused by the cessation of such benefits regardless of the
reason for termination or resignation of employment.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this termination clause will remain in full force and effect and be
applicable to the termination of your employment notwithstanding any other change in your
employment terms, including any change in duties, title, authority, compensation or location.
7. After your 90-day Probationary Period expires, in the event you choose to resign, you are required
to provide the Employer with 2 weeks’ notice of your intention to resign your employment with
the Employer.
8. The Employer expects their employees to devote their whole working time and attention to the
business of the Employer. You will be expected to promote the interests of the Employer in any
professional activities in which we may participate. The Employer expects that you do not engage in any
outside work or interests that may conflict with the business of the Employer. You shall disclose
any business, commercial or financial interest that may be in conflict with regular duties of your role.
9. While employed with the Employer, you will have access to sensitive and proprietary financial
and strategic information, confidential to the Employer or related entities (“Confidential
Information”). We remind you that any disclosure of Confidential Information to competitors would
be harmful to the Employer’s interests. By signing this Agreement, you agree that you will not
disclose any Confidential Information to competitors or to any person or group of persons that does
not have knowledge of the same, either during your employment with the Employer or after leaving
the Employer. Further, you agree that you will not use, either during your employment or subsequent
to your employment with the Employer, the Confidential Information, except for the sole purpose of
benefiting the Employer and its current and future affiliates and subsidiaries.
10. Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, if your specified entitlements under this Agreement fail
to comply with the minimum requirements of any statute (including any applicable employment
standards legislation) then the Employer may satisfy those specific entitlements by complying with
the minimum statutory requirements as though the parties amended this contract.
11. This offer is conditional on proof of your legal eligibility to work in Canada.
12. This offer is conditional on the Employer’s sole and unconstrained satisfaction of suitability
of employment for the position after completion of a criminal record check showing no criminal
offences, and completion of the required training certification according to the applicable governing
bodies within 7 days of accepting this offer. Upon receipt of your signed offer letter, you will receive
an email from Triton Canada, asking you to complete the online consent for a criminal record check.

You hereby covenant that you will be found fit and suitable by the Company and any regulatory body,
to be a part-time employee, employed by the Employer. In the event the requirements stated above
are not fulfilled to the satisfaction of the Employer, this offer will be rescinded.
13. This letter sets out the entire employment agreement between you and the Employer. This agreement
cannot be changed, except in writing.
Please indicate your acceptance of the terms of this offer by signing and returning one copy of this letter
to Theresina Marler no later than September 9, 2019 by 4:00pm. Please note, if we do not hear back
from you before the acceptance deadline this offer will be considered null and void. Please retain a copy of
this letter for your records.
