DIRECTIONS for questions 55 to 58: Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow.
The next ingredient is a very remarkable one: Good Temper. "Love is not easily provoked". Nothing could be
more striking than to find this here. We are inclined to look upon bad temper as a very harmless weakness.
We speak of it as a mere infirmity of nature, a family failing, a matter of temperament, not a thing to take into
very serious account in estimating a man's character. And yet here, right in the heart of this analysis of love, it
finds a place; and the Bible again and again returns to condemn it as one of the most destructive elements in
human nature. The peculiarity of ill temper is that it is the vice of the virtuous. It is often the one blot on an
otherwise noble character. You know men who are all but perfect, and women who would be entirely perfect,
but for an easily ruffled quick-temper or "touchy" disposition. This compatibility of ill temper with high moral
character is one of the strongest and saddest problems of ethics. The truth is there are two great classes of
sins—sins of the Body, and sins of disposition. The prodigal son may be taken as a type of the first, the Elder
Brother of the second. Now society has no doubt whatever as to which of these is the worse. Its brand falls,
without a challenge, upon the Prodigal. But are we right? We have no balance to weigh one another's sins, and
coarser and finer are but human words; but faults in the higher nature may be less venial than those in the
lower, and to the eye of Him who is love, a sin against love may seem a hundred times more base. No form of
vice, not worldliness, not greed of gold , not drunkenness itself does more to un-christianise society than evil
temper. For embittering life, for breaking up communities, for destroying the most sacred relationships, for
devasting homes, for withering up men and women, for taking the bloom off childhood; in short for sheer
gratuituos misery-producing power, this influence stands alone. Jealousy, anger, pride, uncharity, cruelty, self-
righteousness, touchiness, doggedness, sullenness-in varying properties these are the ingredients of all ill
temper. Judge if such sins of disposition are not worse to live in, and for others to live with than sins of the
body. There is really no place in Heaven for a disposition like this. A man with such a mood could only make
Heaven miserable for all the people in it.

My new mistress proved to be all she appeared when I first met her at the door- a woman of the kindest heart
and feelings. She had never had a slave under her control previously and prior to her marriage she had been
dependent upon her own industry for a living. She was by trade a weaver, and by constant application to her
business, she had been in a good degree preserved from the lighting and dehumanizing effects of slavery. I
Bulls Eye SNAP 2013

was utterly astonished at her goodness. I scarcely knew how to behave towards her. My early instruction was
all out of place. The crouching servility, usually so acceptable a quality in a slave, did not answer when
manifested toward her. Her favor was not gained by it; she seemed to be disturbed by it. She did not deem it to
be impudent or unmannerly for a slave to look in the face. The meanest slave was put fully at ease in her
presence, and none left without feeling better for having seen her. But alas! This kind heart had but a short
time to remain such. The fatal poison of irresponsible power was already in her hands, and soon commenced
its internal work.
Very soon I went to live with Mr. and Mrs. Auld; she very kindly commenced to teach me the A, B, C. After I
had learnt this, she assisted me in learning to spell words of three and four letters. Just at this point of my
progress, Mr. Auld found out what was going on , and at once forbade Mrs. Auld to instruct me further, telling
her that it was unlawful, as well as unsafe, to teach a slave to read. Further he said, "If you give a slave an
inch, he will take a mile. A slave should know nothing but to obey his master - to do as he is told to do.
Learning would spoil the best slave in this world. "Now," said he, "If you teach that boy (speaking of myself)
how to read, there would be no keeping him. It would forever unfit him to be a slave. He would at once
become unmanageable, and of no value to his master. As to him, it could do him no good, but a great deal of
harm. It would make him discontented and unhappy. "These words sank deep into my heart, stirred up
sentiments within that lay slumbering, and called into existence an entirely new train of thought. I now
understood what had been to me a most perplexing difficulty - the white man's power to enslave the black
man. From that moment, I understood that pathway from slavery to freedom. Though conscious of the
difficulty of learning without a teacher, I set out with high hope, and a fixed purpose, at whatever cost of
trouble, to learn how to read. The very decided manner with which my master spoke, and strove to impress his
wife with the evil consequences of giving me instruction, served to convince me that he was deeply sensible
of the truths he was uttering. It gave me the best assurance that I might rely with the utmost confidence on the
results which, he said, would flow from teaching me to read. What he most dreaded, that I most desired. What
he most loved, that I most hated. That which to him was great evil, to be carefully shunned, was to me a great
good, to be diligently sought; and the argument which he so warmly urged, against my learning to read, only
served to inspire me with a desire and determination to learn. In learning to read, I owe almost as much to the
bitter opposition of my master, as to the kindly aid of my mistress. I acknowledge the benefit of both.

x-y =10 ...................(2)
Adding 1 & 2 we get 2x = 50
x = 25 km/hr
Speed of Arvind is 25 km/hr

So the CP of Boney = Rs 120
CP of Chakori = Rs. 132
Since Chakori sold it to mechanic at a loss of 9.09%
The CP of Mechanic = Rs 120
Now mechanic spent 10% of purchase price on repairs
Net CP of mechanic = 120 +10 = Rs 132
Mechanic sold the car to Anna again at a profit of 8.33%
13
CP of Anna = 132× = Rs. 143

prompt. In this prompt, each missing word has its own keywords. The first missing word’s keywords are at
the end of the sentence, where the prompt gives the definition of the missing word as a work that involves

DIRECTIONS for questions 24 to 26: Read the given passage and answer the questions.
Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted, nor to find talk and discourse,
but to weigh and consider. Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be
chewed and digested; that is, some books are to be rend only in parts; others to be read, but not
curiously; and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention. Some books may also be
read by deputy, and extracts made of them by others; but that would be only in the less important
arguments and the meaner sort of books; else distilled books are like common distilled waters, flashy
things. Reading makes a full man, conference a ready man, and writing an exact man. And therefore if a
man write little, he had need have a good memory; if he confer little, he had need have a present wit;
and if he read little, he had need have much cunning to seem to know that he doth not.
Histories make men wise, poets witty, the mathematics subtle, natural philosophy deep, moral grave,
logic and rhetoric able to contend.
26. What can be done with regard to the 'meaner' sort of books?
DIRECTIONS for questions 27 to 32: Read the given passage and answer the questions.
PROBLEMS FACING POTENTIAL EXPORTERS
Many firms fail because when they begin exporting, they have not researched the target markets or have
not developed an international marketing plan to be successful. A firm must clearly define goals
objectives and potential problems. Secondly it must develop a definitive plan to accomplish it's
objective regardless of problems involved. Unless the firm is fortunate enough to possess a staff with
considerable expertise, it may not be able to take this crucial first step without qualified outside
guidance.
Often top management is not committed enough to overcome the initial difficulties and financial
requirements of exporting. It can often take more time and effort to establish a firm in a foreign market
than in domestic one. Although the early delays and costs involved in exporting may seem difficult to
justify when compared to established domestic trade the exporter should take a more objective view of
this process and carefully monitor international marketing efforts through these early difficulties. If a
good foundation is laid for export business the benefits derived should eventually out-weigh the
investment.
Another problem area is in the selection of foreign distributor. The complications involved in overseas
communications and transportation require international distributors to act with greater independence
than their domestic counterparts also since a new exporter's trademarks and reputation is usually
unknown in the foreign market. Foreign customers may buy on the strength of distributing agent's
reputation. A firm should therefore conduct a thorough evaluation of the distributor's facilities, the
personnel handling its account and managements methods employed.
Another common difficultly for new exporter is the neglect of the export market once the domestic one
booms: too many companies only concentrate on exporting when there is recession. Others may refuse
to modify products to meet the regulations or cultural preferences of other countries. Local safety
regulations cannot be ignored by exporters. If necessary modifications are not made at the factory the
distributor must make them, this is usually at a greater cost and probably not as satisfactory as it should
be. It should also be noted that the resulting smaller profit margin makes the account less attractive.
If exporters expect distributing agents to actively promote their accounts they must be trained and their
performance must be continually monitored. This requires a company's marketing executive to be
located permanently in the distributor's geographical areas until there is sufficient business to support
the representative. The distributor should also be treated on an equal basis with domestic counterparts
for e.g. special discount offers, sales incentive programmes and special credit terms should be available.
Considering a joint venture or licensing agreement is another option for new exporters. However, many
companies still dismiss international marketing as unviable. There are a number of reasons for this.
There may be import restrictions in the target market. The company may lack sufficient financial
resources or its product line may be too limited. Yet many products that can compete on a national basis
can be successful in the majority of world markets. In general, all that is needed for success is flexibility
in using the proper combinations of marketing techniques.

21. 2 As per the sentence the answer is option 2
22. 1 The keyword here is aesthetic, and thus the answer is polemical.
23. 2 The correct spellings are - Pernicious.
24. 4 “Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted, nor to find talk and
discourse, but to weigh and consider”
25. 3 To disapprove suits in the context because the author wants the reader to avoid being
prejudiced
26. 4 “Some books may also be read by deputy, and extracts made of them by others; but that
would be only in the less important arguments and the meaner sort of books”. Thus, option 4
27. 1 “Unless the firm is fortunate enough to possess a staff with considerable expertise, it may not
be able to take this crucial first step without qualified outside guidance”. The author suggests
this clearly.
28. 2 “If a good foundation is laid for export business the benefits derived should eventually out-
weigh the investment”. Thus, option 2 is the correct choice
29. 3 “Foreign customers may buy on the strength of distributing agent's reputation”. Thus, option

30. 1 “Another common difficultly for new exporter is the neglect of the export market once the
domestic one booms”. Hence, option 2
31. 3 “Local safety regulations cannot be ignored by exporters”. Thus, option 3 makes sense
32. 2 “There are a number of reasons for this. There may be import restrictions in the target
market”. Therefore, the answer is option 2.
33. 4 The correct answer here is option 4 , which is an idiom, which means- fascinated by.
34. 2 The correct tense would be option 2
35. 1 The correct word as per the text is back.
36. 1 This blank will be filled with an idiom, and thus the correct answer is option 1.
37. 4 All the options can fit , and thus the answer is option 4.
38. 1 It means brief
39. 1 The correct answer is - this desk is squarer than that one.

41. 4 The equation of the line joining the points (5, 2) and (6, -15) is
15 2
y2 x 5
65
=> y- 2 = - 17( x- 5 )
=> 17x + y – 87 = 0.
As no further information is given, so data is insufficient to solve the question.
42. 2 Here the divisors are 2, 3, 4 and 5 and the respective remainders are 1, 2, 3 and 4.
The L.C.M. of (2, 3, 4, 5) = 60.
The least number satisfying the given condition = L.C.M. of (2, 3, 4, 5) – the difference
between the divisor and the respective remainder.
= 60 – 1 = 59
43. 4 Total multiples of 7 between 1and 1000 = 1000 / 7 = 142.
Total multiples of 7 between 1 and 100 = 100 /7 = 14.
Hence total multiples of 7 between 100 and 1000 = 142 – 14 = 128.
44. 3 Both the athletes have run for the same time. So the ratio of their distances will be the same
as the ratio of their speeds. Hence the ratio of the distance covered by A and B, when they
meet for the first time is 4: 5. Hence A has covered 400m and B has covered 500m. So they
will meet at 400m from A’s end.
45. 3 We have the function Y = sin x + log x
The domain of sin x is set of all real numbers. The function log x is defined when x > 0.
Hence the domain of Y is (0, ).
46. 4 If we multiply the terms given in the options one by one, we can check that none of them
will give us x4 + 5x2 + 36. Hence answer is option 4.
47. 2 Let the present average age of committee is x years. So the total age is 4x years. Let the age
of the person replaced is y years and that of the new member is z years. Acc. to the question

6 4
15000 x 15000 900 0.04 x 600 300 0.04 x.
Total commission = 100 100
As he submitted Rs 30000 after deducting his commission, so we have
x – ( 300 + 0.04x) = 30000
=> 0.96x – 300 = 30000 => 0.96x = 30300
30300

54. 1 We have 60% of (x – y) = 40% of (x + y)
3x y 2x y
5 5
=> 3(x – y) = 2(x + y)
=> 3x – 3y = 2x + 2y
=> x = 5y
=> x: y = 5: 1
Hence y is 20% of x.
55. 1 The investment is in ratio 4: 5 and period of investment is 9: 8.
Hence the profit will be in the ratio 4 × 9: 5×8 = 9: 10.
56. 2 As minute hand and hour hand have changed, so hour hand is actually now minute hand. So
it will show 6’oclock again when it will first cover a gap of 1800 and then create further gap

58. 1
59. 1 The given data is in degrees. So 25% of 3600 = 900. Now only Discovery channel has its
sector more than 900. So there is only one such channel.
60. 3 National Geographic channels constitutes 350 of the total circle.

61. 1 TLC is 550 of the total viewership.
55000
Hence total viewership = 360 360000.
55
62. 2 Let total viewership for the whole month is 360. Then the viewership of Discovery kids for
the whole month = 75 and of TLC = 55.
The viewership of Discovery Kids for the second half = 50.
Hence the required ratio is 50: 55 = 10: 11.
63. 2 As Discovery Kids is under quoted by 25%, so Discovery kids will be increased by 250.
160
Hence the viewership of Discovery = 100 41.55%.

Hence 994 = 106 + (n – 1) × 6
=> 888 = (n – 1) × 6 => n – 1 = 148 => n = 149.
65. 3 We will do it by options. Option in which on subtracting 241 becomes a perfect square
should be the answer. Only 14641 satisfy it as 14641 – 241 = 14400 is a perfect square.
66. 3 11!
The total number of ways of selecting 5 cards out of 11 is 11C5 = 462.

68. 3 1 1 1
Actual ratio of distribution among A, B and C is : : or 4: 3: 2. So the actual share of A
3 4 6
was Rs 80, of B was Rs 60 and of C was Rs 40. When the money was divided in the ratio 3:
4: 6 among A, B and C then they got Rs 41.52, Rs 55.36 and 83.04 respectively. Hence only
share of C has increased.
69. 3 Let the age of mother is ‘x’ years and of daughter is ‘y’ years.
So we have x + y = 42 ……(i)
After 3 years, x + 3 = 3 (y + 3)
=> x + 3 = 3y + 9
=> x – 3y = 6 …….(ii)
Subtracting (ii) from (i), we get, 4y = 36 => y = 9 years and x = 33 years. Hence mother’s
age after 3 years = 36 years.
70. 2 The difference between the terms is 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21 respectively. Hence the
missing term is 47 + 18 = 65.
71. 1 The difference between the numbers is 17, 15, 13, 11, 9 and 7. Hence 47 is incorrect. It
should be 46.
72. 3 Probability of hitting the target = 1 – (probability of missing the target)

Hence flat discount = 65
Now the first discount is 10%. Let us try the question using options.
Let the second discount is 4%.

So the flat discount = 10 + 4 - =14 – 0.4 = 13.6% which is same as the actual value.
100
Hence the second discount is 4%.

G5-G4 i.e., 5 persons (except the first and last persons).
131 3 From diagram 3, we can observe that route for sending the message will be A3 - A4 - A5 - A6 -
A1 - A2 - G6 - G5 - G4 - G3 - G2 - G1. Thus, the message will pass through 10 persons (except
the first and last persons).
132 4 We can observe from diagram 1 that person to the right of A2 is A1 and from diagram 2 that

pass through A1 - A2 - G6 – A3 - A4 – A5 - A6 i.e., 5 persons (excluding the 2 persons).
133 1 Since, we need to count the least number of persons, thus A3 will pass the message directly to A6,
then the message will follow the normal route upto G6. Then again to get the least persons,
message from G6 will pass directly to G3 and then the message will be transmitted through the
normal route upto G1. Thus, the correct route will be A3 – A6 – A1 – A2 – G6 – G3 – G2 – G1

DIRECTIONS for question 92 and 96: Read the following passage and answer the questions
"There are several factors that contribute to wisdom. Of these I should put first a sense of proportion; the
capacity to take account of all the important factors in a problem and to attach to each its due weight. This has
become more difficult than it used to be owing to the extent and complexity of the specialized knowledge
required of various kinds of technicians. Suppose, for example, that you are engaged in research in scientific
medicine. The work is difficult and is likely to absorb the whole of your intellectual energy. You have no time
to consider the effect which your discoveries or invention may have outside the field of medicine. You
succeed (let us say), as modern medicine has succeeded, in enormously lowering the infant death-rate, not
only in Europe and America, but also in Asia and Africa. This has the entirely unintended result of making the
food supply inadequate and lowering the standard of life in the most populous parts of the world. To take an
even more spectacular example, which is in everybody's mind at the present time- you study the composition
of the atom from a disinterested desire for knowledge and incidentally place in the hands of powerful lunatics
the means of destroying the human race. In such ways the pursuit of knowledge may become harmful unless it
is combined with wisdom; and wisdom in the sense of comprehensive vision is not necessarily present in
specialists in the pursuit of knowledge.
Comprehensiveness alone, however, is not enough to constitute wisdom. There must be, also, certain
awareness of ends of human life. This may be illustrated by the study of history. Many eminent historians
have done more harm than good because they viewed facts through the distorting medium of their own
passions. Hegel had a philosophy of history which did not suffer from any lack of comprehensiveness, since it
started from earliest time and continued into an indefinite future. But the chief lesson of history which he
sought to inculcate was that from the year A.D. 400 down to his own time, Germany had been the most
important nation and the standard bearer of progress in the world. Perhaps one could stretch the
comprehensiveness that constitutes wisdom to include not only intellect but also feeling. It is by no means
uncommon to find men/ women whose knowledge is wide but those feelings are narrow. Such men / women
lack what I am calling wisdom.
I think the essence of wisdom is emancipation, as far as possible, from the tyranny of the here and the now.
We cannot help the egoism of our senses. Sight, sound and touch are bound up with our own bodies and
cannot be made impersonal. Our emotions start similarly from ourselves. An infant feels hunger or
discomfort; gradually with the years his horizon widens, and, in proportion as his thoughts and feelings
become less personal and less concerned with his own physical states, he achieves growing wisdom. This is of
course a matter of degree. No one can view the world with complete impartiality; however, it is possible to
make a continual approach towards impartiality, on the one hand, by knowing things somewhat remote in time
or space, and, on the other hand, by giving to such things their due weight in our feelings. It is this approach
towards impartiality that constitutes growth in wisdom.
Perhaps in this sense the wisdom can be taught. I think that this teaching should have a larger intellectual
element than has been customary in what has been thought of as moral instruction. I think that the disastrous
result of hatred and narrow mindedness to those who fed them can be pointed out incidentally in the course of
giving knowledge. Knowledge and morals ought not to be too much separated. It is true that the kind of
specialized knowledge which is required for various kinds of skills has very little to do with wisdom. But it
should be supplemented in education by wider surveys calculated to put it in its place in the totality of human
activities. Even the best technicians should also be good citizens, i.e. citizens of the world and not of any one
nation. With every increase of knowledge and skill, wisdom becomes more necessary for every such increase
augments our capacity of realizing our purposes, and therefore augments our capacity for evil, if our purposes
are unwise. The world needs wisdom as it has never needed it before; and if knowledge continues to increase,
the world will need wisdom in the future even more than it does now.

42. 4 As amount of pre-paid expenses in the balance sheet, which were booked from the previous year to the
current year was increased, means cash has reduced. Also what he gets from his fixed deposits
increases, which is in equal to his sundry expenses. Hence the final effect on cash for this year is that it
reduces.
43. 2 option 1 is incorrect as in this "Placements - my goal" is shown before "MBA Go Getters" which is

option 3 is incorrect as in this "Placements - my goal" is shown before "The Life is your choice" which
is against condition 3.
option 4 is incorrect as in this "Laugh for a while" is shown after "MBA - Maha Budhiman Aadmi"
which is against condition 2
Hence option 2 is correct which is satisfying all the conditions.
44. 1 Using the relation given between John & Joe and John & Jonathan we can calculate the ratio of their
distribution of coins which also happens to be the ratio of their ages. As per the question, if John takes
Bulls Eye SNAP 2015
www.hitbullseye.com
4 gold coins, Joe takes 3. So ratio between John : Joe = 4 : 3 and if John takes 6 coins, Jonathan takes 7.
So, ratio between John : Jonathan = 6 : 7. Combining the 2 ratios we get John : Joe : Jonathan = 12 :
9 : 14
Now this totals upto 35. But the total of their ages = 17.5. Hence, their ages will be half of the given
ratio i.e.
John = 6 Joe = 4.5 and Jonathan = 7.
45. 3 When clock takes 7 seconds to strike 7, it means the clock takes 7 seconds to cover 6 gaps of time
periods in between 7 gongs. Now to strike 11 o’clock the time periods will be 10. So, time taken will
7
be 10 11.67 sec .
6
46. 2 The series is 22 – 2, 32 – 3, 52 – 5, 72 – 7, 112 – 11. So answer is 132 – 13 i.e. 156.
47. 3 The logic is 02-1, 12-1, 22-1 and 32-1. So answer is 22-1 = 3
48. 2 Let G, S, R & N be their ages 15 years back. Let Amit & Keshav be born after x & y years,
Thus their ages after 15 years can be written as A-x & K – y respectively. Thus the following equations are
formed:
G = 2 (S + R + N)……………………..(1)
2(G + 15) = (S + 15) + (R + 15) + (N + 15) + A + (15 - x)+ K + (15 – y) …(2)
S + 15 = A + (15 – x)+ K + (15 – y) ……..(3)
G + 15 = (S + 15) + (R + 15)……………...(4)
Substituting equation 3 in 2 & then equation 4 in the new equation formed, we get R = N. Thus G = 24.
Therefore G’s present age is 24 + 15 = 39 years.
49. 3 Since R = N, therefore Ridhi & Nidhi are twins.
50. 1 The statement says that CSR should be followed not only by public but also by corporate which makes
argument II as strong one. So the answer is option 1.
51. 4 As statement talks about importance of Aadhar card in getting LPG subsidy, the arguments seem to
have no link in between. Hence, answer should be option 4.
52. 2 Looking at the options we conclude that (-5) is common in all choices so (A) will be coded as (-5).
Now as C is 3 as per EJOTY, so squaring it makes 9 and further cubing it makes 729. Now subtract 6
to get 723. The same is applicable for B also which makes 2 4 64 – 6 58. Now D 4 16
4096 – 6 4090.
Hence answer is 2nd option.
53. 1 Logic used is (ENJOTY)2 – 25.
i.e. MONEY = (13)2 (15)2 (14)2 (5)2 (25)2
169 225 196 25 625
- 25 - 25 -25 -25 -25
= 144 200 171 0 600
Hence DOLLAR is option 1
54. 3 Total aspirants = 100. Engineers = 99.
98
Now to make the engineers 98% of total so 99 – x = 100 x . Solving x = 50.
100
55. 2 Vikas is the uncle of Atul.

III) W, X & Z cannot be used together as we will be left with only one ingredient to be used out of A, B
& C which is not possible. Hence, option 3rd
60. 2 I) If C is used Y is not used and Z can be used. Now we are left with one ingredient out of W & X so
we can use any. So, must not be true.
II) If Y is used, C cannot be used hence, A & B must be used.
III) If C is not used, A & B must be used and W cannot be used. Hence, option 2nd .
61. 2 The logic used is product of the squares of EJOTY sum
i.e. e.g. CAB = 3 + 1 + 2 = 62 = 36. FAN = 6 + 1 + 14 = 212 = 441. 441 × 36 = 15876
571536
Hence, CAN = 3 + 1 + 14 = 182 = 324. So, 1764 42 GIFT7 9 6 20
324
62. 4 The logic used is addition of the EJOTY sum of two words is done and then reversed.
e.g. WOE = 43 and MISERY = 89. 89 + 43 = 132 231
Now, SPLEEN = 71 and total should be 118. So, the EJOTY of other word must be 47 which is DRIP.
63. 4 The logic used is that we take the EJOTY sum of both the letter groups and write them in reverse order
i.e. MBA = 16 and NCB = 19 so we take 1916. Likewise BCA = 6 and CDB = 9 so we have 96
and finally FCA = 10 and GDB = 13 so answer is 1310.
64. 1 Counting the straight lines we get 39.
65. 3 The logic used is that take the first letter of the word represented by pictures i.e.
(B)EE - (4) Fingers - (U)MBRELLA = B4U
(M)ONKEY - (T)EA - (V)ICTORY = MTV
(N)OSE - (D)OG - (T)EA - (V)ICTORY = NDTV

His grandfather’s age, 5 years ago = 5x.
John’s age after 25 years = x + 30
John’s grandfather’s age after 25 years = 5x + 30
Given that 5x + 30 = 2 (x + 30)
5x + 30 = 2x + 60
3x = 30
x = 10
John’s present age = x + 5 = 10 + 5 = 15 years.
His grandfather’s present age = 5x + 5 = 5 × 10 + 5 = 55 years

product of the 26 terms with one term being zero will be surely zero. Hence option 2 is the answer.
142. 3 In one cage there are 9 lions and 81 cubs.
So there are 90 animals in one cage
Hence there are 360 legs in one cage.
Since one man has 9 cages, so total legs of animals with one man = 9 × 360 = 3240
Now there are 9 men, so total legs = 3240 × 9 + 9 × 2 = 29160 + 18 = 29178
