Symptom

In the SAP Business One Cloud environment, if you log on to the presentation server but open the client with
a different Windows user account, UI API server will fail to start.

Reproducing the issue

Prerequisites:

You are using SAP Business One Cloud.

Scenario:

1. Log on to the presentation server with Windows user A, which is already configured correctly in the
Cloud Control Center.
2. Press Shift+Right-click in SAP Business One to open the menu and choose Run as dfferent user.
3. Enter a different Windows user, user B, which must also be configured correctly in the Cloud Control
Center.

Expected behavior:

The client is open and running.

Actual behavior:

The client is open but there is an error:

UI API Server is unavailable; the installation process will not start

Cause

This is the correct system behaviour.

The UI API server is still running with the current Windows user A session. Therefore, the startup from
Windows user B in the client fails.

Solution

Workaround:

1. Open Task Manager and kill the existing "SAPbouiCOM.exe" processes.

2. Go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Component Services, locate "SAPbouiCOM" and right-
