Employee Benefits in LIC

Compiled by
Zonal Training Centre,
Kolkata

Purpose of this Booklet

The purpose of this booklet is to provide the employees a handy material which contains
the basic features of the important employee benefits in a capsular form. The employee
may refer to this booklet anytime and anywhere he pleases. There are some benefits
which are not talked about. But these benefits exist.

While it is not possible to remember all the benefits, it is important that the employees
become more aware of the total package of benefits that the organization has to offer.

This book will be of utmost use to the employees to make them assured that the
Corporation is taking due care of them. They will probably be thrilled to find that the
benefits available in LIC are much more than available elsewhere.

Scope of this booklet

There is an index of contents at the beginning of the booklet with link. This will enable
the employees to go to any particular section quickly. This book is for quick reference
only. If the employee needs to study any section in details, he will have to read the full
circular available in the Jeevan Sanchar, the intranet site of LIC.

We need to continuously improve this booklet in order to enhance its utility. The
